As Twilight's release dates around the world are beginning to be posted on the web (www.imdb.com), we can't help but notice that Asia's release dates tend to be latter than United States' or Europe's.
We realize that Indonesia's date is yet to be announced, or decided--for that matter.
However, as potential viewers and huge fans of the books and the actors involved in the film, it is only natural that we have a concern on how we may be forced to wait much longer for the film to be released than our (American / European) friends.
Therefore, we are asking you, Summit Entertainment, and rightful distributors such as 21 Cineplex and Blitz Megaplex to release Twilight -in Indonesia- no latter than November 21, 2008.
To release the film latter than the said date would pain us and is much unfair. Why must we wait longer? Is it because our geographical location? We don't think it is though, The Dark Knight, and Harry Potter series for example were released on the same day as it's U.S. premiere date.
So, in conclusion, we ask of you to please release Twilight on no later than November 21st in Indonesia. Not only would it make us such happy and satisfied customers, it would also make us more eager in promoting the film to our family and friends.
Last but not least, to Summit Entertainment: Thank you for bringing Twilight into the screen! We're sure it'll live up to the book and maybe even more!
