Van Nguyen should be spared, he was only trying to help his brother, and he should n't have to pay with his life. He has shown remorse, and I am sure his lesson has been learnt, and he doesn't deserve to be executed in such a barbaric way! I really hope mercy will be shown.
This is a case of injustice on a huge scale tantamount to state-sanctioned murder. What we are seeing is the irrational justification of a mandatory death sentence.

with police. Killing Nguyen Tuong Van is not a solution. Why don't we give this young man another chance.
Singapore must realize that its legal system is outdated. Individual case must be judged upon and not blindly apply its outdated law to the mass. I do not condone drug trafficking. Death penalty is only appropriate for professional drug trafficker. According to media report, Mr. Nguyen does not seem to be a pro drug trafficker. Mr. Nguyen is entitled to a second chance. People must boyscott Singapore by not going there at all cost. FYI: I was thinking of using Singapore Air to travel to Asia. But the country's action makes me hesitant about using Singapore Airlines.
Death penalty is really inhuman. It is even more inhuman in this case because the crime commited is not that deserve to be killed. I hope the government will show the sympathy for a young remoreful person like Mr Van tuong Nguyen and his family situation. Thank you for your consideration.
Unjustice do something like that when everyone do need a second chance in life...Why some people kill someone don't get execution for killing that person and drugs can be big issue in this world that can't not get away from it or can't stop it then why in this case just one person (Van Nguyen) involve drug have to be excution for it. I am calling on the Australian government to take advantage of the legal loophole that allows them to extradite Van Nguyen on the grounds that he was in the process of committing a crime against Australians by attempting to bring drugs to this country. I have no idea how to voice this other than on this petition. This legal loophole was explained on the 7.30 Report on Tuesday night.
Nguyen Tuong Van is too young to consider what he have done by smuggling heroin. personally,I think he may have a second chance to live. Please just once time no more
Please have mercy, a human life is important due to the fact we don't live very long in our life time, but to save someone's life is the most precious thing you can do. due to desperation and poverty this person had committed the crime, and the reason? because the government it self is corrupted, they believe they can cover up or fixed a problem by hanging/killing that person? soon another drug trafficing situation would arise. If the government has a problem with it self how could they expect the people to lead a good example.
