Nguyen has committed a crime and he has to be punished but death sentence is definitely disproportiate to the crime he has made. It is too far beyond any human's expectation
There is no whatsoever reason to end a life of a human being!
A few gram of drug is not a big deal! Why don't you hang a whole government who fosters drug traficking and growing drug?
I really do hope this person will be free to repair the mistake that he did. He deserves to have his life spared.
The death penalty IS NOT THE ANSWER !
The law can't dealth penalty Singapore this person Nguyen Tuong Van, because this peson is Vietnamese, leave Vietnamese country, sometimes he don't have anyone teach him yet, give him a chance in the jail, don't hanging him, if they kill this person, y'all will upset 10 million teen Vietnamese, the law in Singapore, but this person is Vietnamese, why don't report him to Vietnam or Australia, we have enemy Singapore. Wonder Singapore don't dealth penalty, but right now the teen Vietnamese don't have authority right now, but we're not sure for some more years, and Singapore were not peaceful, wonder to stop the evil law to human, because human by god making, then wonder life have love, like Jesus. Thank You!
Singapore Government should give pardon to Van Nguyen in this case. It would be enough killing in the world in this 21 st century. Stop killing and try other approach will make our planet a much better place to live together. Thanks.
I am against death sentence. Life is the most valuable thing in the universe, and we should have an enormous respect for it. It is just simply wrong and sad to believe that people can't change. Besides, mistakes are neccessary to learn and develop. If one kills people because they're not perfect, than we should all be dead.
This is simply wrong. Van is not a hardened drug criminal and does not deserve death. On the contrary, he has already admitted wrongdoing and demonstates signs of rehablitation. The death penalty is premeditated murder at the best of times. But executing a reformed 25 year old man who was a drug mule under desperate circumstances is simply madness. He's 25 years old for God's sake! This cannot be it for him.
Stop this callousness in this day and age. I cannot believe that people are still being hung or electrocuted. Man's inhumanity to man knows no bounds.
The death penalty is only for the very weak.
mistakes are made by all people of the earth, thats what makes us the same, nobody should hang for trying to help another least of all if that person's a loved & cherished brother.
What Nguyen Tuong Van did was wrong. He is probably scared ****less at this moment about what is to become. And he would regret what he did. The wait is enough for anyone to learn their lesson. If the hanging is avoided, I'm sure he would be so afraid to ever do anything like it again. SAVE Nguyen Tuong Van, he does not deserve death. And killing him would just cause tension between our country and Vietnam. It would also mean another crime would have been committed- is it worth killing someone for one mistake?
Punishment is a short term solution. Mercy and love is the long term one. Please save the life of this young man and give him a second chance. Thank you very much.
Please save this young man. Nguyen Tuong Van already fully co-corporated
with police. Killing Nguyen Tuong Van is not a solution. Why don't we give this young man another chance.
Nguyen Tuong Van's
Crime certainly DOES NOT warrant the Death Penalty. Plus he has already suffered much in prison already and I have no doubt he has well learned his lesson. Also his motive was family troubles. He made a mistake and has suffered the consequences and I feel he should be set free with 5 years probation.
I pray for our Dear Lord God Almighty to put a lot of LOVE into the hearts of the Singaporean Government to allow Mr Nguyen to continue living the life that GOD has given him and to us all for this world. We all make mistakes in life and should be forgiven for our sins by our fellow and beloved brothers. May God Almighty and Our Saviour Jesus Christ BLESS Our BROTHER Van Nguyen with their ETERNAL LOVE for ever!
Lots of love from Samuel Inglles, Sydney, Australia.
