He has cooperated; he has admitted his guilt & shown remorse; he will pay a penalty but that penalty should not be death. Violence begets violence; the death penalty does not create a better society. Do the right thing & spare his life.
Maybe if any of these decision makers had children in the same position, they would consider revising their (in my opinion) saddistic, barbaric, unjust, hipocritic and indispicable decision. Sincerely hope the world comes to its senses to Van's support. Agreed he did a stupid thing, but no-one forces people to take drugs.Maybe we should jail sellers of cars (which can be weapons) all alcohol dealers, cigarette sellers and we can go on with weapons people use. Luv to Van, his mother, brother and all his family. Our pain is not a shadows of theirs. Our thoughts with them all.
Please give him a change to live. I don't think he dare to make the same mistake again. He's obviouly deserved some purnishment, but death sentense is really inhuman.
To the not unwise (or stupid) Singapore government. I DEMAND THAT:
You must delay the punishment or sentence until you have the right and fair trial for Van Tuong Nguyen. Why I tell you all of that? Because of the crime was happened when he had been using the airplane, from Vietnam via Singapore to Australia. You have your law, airplane company has it’s law, too; Vietnam has law, too; Australia has law, too. All of you ( Singapore, Airline company, Vietnam, Australia, the representative of Human Right of the world, and Van Tuong Nguyen with his lawyer, I wished that I was the one of his lawyer in the trial) must have the right to participate in the fair and right trial for him. If you do it your own way; it means you are dictator, you absolutely disregard the honor and the right of the people in the world. The life is the most value ever for people in the world. You have your law, but you are in the world, you belong to the world. If you carry the wrong punishment to Van Tuong Nguyen you will be trial for crime, too and I will be one in the first row fighting for human right, fighting for justice. Punishments for crime yes, but it reasonable, not dead penalty easily carry out. Hell is to the opium trafficking, and hell is for the Death, too; they are all living in hell.
Your Excellency,
I beg you from the bottom of my heart, please, please don't hang NTV, he doesn't deserve to die this cruel, barbaric way, just give him a chance to live. Thank you, and please have mercy for this kid!
Dear to whom Singapore Gov .I'm strongly disagree for this justic,if you give him a favor , you will be got back great abpreciate from peoples and VietNamese around the world, thank you .
THE FOLLOWING WILL OCCUR IF THE GOVERNMENT OF SINGAPORE CHOOSES TO TAKE TUONG VAN NGUYEN'S LIFE:
1.ON DECEMBER 02, 2005 THERE IS A FALLEN STAR HEADING STRAIGHT DOWN TO THE MIDDLE OF THIS COUNTRY.IF SINGAPORE SANCTIONS
THE KILLING OF ANY HUMAN BEING ON THIS DAY, ITS HEAD OF STATE WILL DIE BECAUSE OF AN ILLNESS.
2.RELATIVES OF THE HIGHEST OFFICES WILL INVOLVE IN SOME ACCIDENTS WHICH RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURIES OR DEATH.
3.THE WHOLE COUNTRY OF SINGAPORE WILL FACE A TERRIBLE DISEASE THAT THE COUNTRY WILL LACK THE MEDICINES TO CURE.
TO AVOID THOSE TERRIBLE THINGS TO HAPPEN, SINGAPORE AS A NATION SHOULD SPARE LIVES OF HUMANS AS WELL AS BIG ANIMALS FOR THE WHOLE WEEK STARTING FROM DECEMBER 02, 2005.
PLEASE TAKE MY WORDS SERIOUSLY FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR COUNTRY.
MAY GOD AND BUDDHA SAVE TUONG VAN NGUYEN AND SAVE SINGAPOREANS.
THANK YOU
Please do not hang Nguyen Tuong Van. Give him a chance to repent. When his life is taken, it only serves your government tough law.It however brings much condemn to your citizens. Please calculate between the negative and the positive from this outcome. You spare his life and you have one more small voice from me in supporting your country.
Thank you
Please spare the life of this young man who has been repentent for his stupid action on behalf of his brother. I think that Singapore government should lower his punishment.
This law in Singapore "Death by Hanging" is outrageous, May your God always be with you and protect you Van! I will pray for you for no-one deserves to die in this manner, shame on you Singapore!
It is abhorrent to think that for an act of stupidity, a young man is to pay the ultimate penalty with his life. His death will not solve the drug problem, nor will it deter anyone determined to do the wrong thing.
Let him live and have a chance of rehabilitation.
It's high time for the Singaporean government to change their law to for expats or foreigners. Their law is not applicable and not acceptable to the International law. Many lives have already been executed in this country. The United Nation must interfer to the case of this young guy. Give this guy his right to live and and correct whatever crime he committed. Let him sentence to life inprisonement and not to execute him. You, The Govenment of Singapore, you dont have the right to take anyones life. To have peace to your neighboring countries, let the international law prevail. You have to stop executing....
I hope Singapore's government to forgive Nguyen Tuong Van's sin. He is still very young. I think that his death will make his family’s members suffer great misery. Most people love him and I am too. Bless he.
Please do not take this young man's life away. Despite his past actions, he certainly doesn't deserves to die this way in this cruel way. Please have sympathy upon him and his family.
NGUYEN TUONG VAN is just a young man who made a mistake and atoned for it . He is not a bad person and deserves to have a second chance . Please spare his life and allow him to be with his family again. They've all been through so much grief and suffering already . There is nothing to be gained from his death except sorrow and injustice .
Please , let him live

For God shake, hanging execution is too much for this guilty. This is his first violation. He's a young man and deserve for a second chance. Please offer him a consideration way.
Van's crime will be forgotten, however, Prime Minister John Howard will never be forgotten - this hanging must NOT HAPPEN! As a British Citizen, residing in Australia, I also urge the Queen to intervene - please save this young man's life!
Every life is precious, some are just more precious than others as far as a particular society at a particular time is concerned. How many Vans are there in this world, thrown on the scrap heap, forgotten, their cries unheard. Van is a tiny shaft of light in the darkness that envelopes so many.
Love, understanding,
free-thinking and a wider perspective could possibly prevent the Vans of this world from taking the foolhardy actions they take, and possibly prevent those they 'exploit' from giving themselves to
drugs, chemicals and
quick fix solutions to living as a thinking, feeling,
sensation-driving human being.
This young man made a mistake but he does not deserve to lose his life. Nobody has the right to take another human life. Please bring him home to Australia and to his family.
Hanging is a barbaric act that has nothing to offer a civilized country.Van is indeed guilty of a drug offence and should serve a prison sentence-but NOT the death sentence.John Howard is in the position where he could arrange a prisoner swap and Van could serve his time here.
Please spare a life. People make mistakes but the good ones will acknowledge and prevent themselves from mistakes. Everyone deserves a second chance including this young man. I am begging you, please don't hang him.
Well said Danielle number 2630.
I am appauled at the way our government has turned their backs on this kid..and to all other still in those awful gaols over the world. What is their go? Why arent they getting them out?Gutless wonders wont....too scared to take a stand....and be heard...only makes me disrespect them more.I wont be going to any asian country ....its a shame because the people themselves are mostly beautiful people...but I am afraid I am not willing to support their government any more...or their industries...and Howard should be worrying about his own people instead of pledging more of our money to other people....it seems that our Michelle Lesley got out...and regardless of all critics..about her clothes..whatever..even whether she bribed someone to get out...I would do the same thing...I would walk around naked if it meant getting me out of that filthy scumhole they call gaols...and thank goodness she has got a great family that mortgaged their home to get her back here....
As for this poor guy....wonder what howard will be thinking when the choke the life out of this poor kid...I bet Howard will be thinking who will be up to bat next at the cricket...This is dam well inhumane..these mongrels shouldnt be allowed to do this..the arabs killed over 400 people this year....and we are letting them....what the hell is this? We should all stand united and stop this barbaric treatment of humans...get these people out of those gaols..take charge and stand up for our brothers and sisters regardless of what race they are....nobody deserves this...nobody....not even the executioner himself!
Please change a human heart by forgiving and love. This person could turn himself to a good person in the future. He still has lots of time to correct what he 's done. Killing is a lose-lose situation. Thanks for your time and cosideration.
Once again, Singapore is showing the world how uncivilized it is. It is well documented that there are al-Qaeda "sleeper cells" in Singapore - maybe authorities there could redirect their attention at something more productive.
