We have a sales support supervisor in our company who uses Comic Sans as her font to communicate internally as well as externally to the world. Replete with typos, contextual and grammatical errors, her emails epitomize the bufoonery that is Comic Sans MS. Not only should we ban the font, but ban the Corporate Clowns that use it!dtremblay@vesco-oil.co m
With software such as M.Soft Word encouraging Joe Bloggs to produce his own corporate ID, stationery and literature, the future has never looked dimmer for good old fashioned well thought out graphic design. Part of the problem is the idea that Comic Sans is "cool" and "funky". This is a ridiculous notion, and the complete over-use of the font has caused it to now be seen around the world, on every street corner. For these reasons I support the petition to ban Comic Sans. While we're at it can we ban all windows and Microsoft software?
I am a university professor who reads at least 100 student essays every week. I wish I have the power to flunk the students who use this eyesore of a font in their papers. It is not funny at all. Please stop!
Since one of the ideas is to split strings not into words, but hopefully into phrases more semantically informative than the words they are made of, doing that better should mean better suggestions, and avoiding what essentially are word n-tuples should make for smaller data and slightly faster querying.
I think I love you.
Just the other day, I was told to type up my English coursework using Comic Sans because it is 'easy to read'.
I'd rather write it by arranging my own veins into words on the page, to be honest.
If you ban Comic Sans, as a web designer i believe things will be sooo much easier. comic Sans feels condecending to me as if the person who is using it is aiming his/her article at a child. It just dosent appeal to me at all.
I got the same tramadol attack... well, not the same, because it was only about 20 comments instead of 90, and i t have any filtering set up, and I just deleted them one at a time... hmm.. the only thing really in common was that it was about tramadol... what filter do you have set up that caught them all?
I always have terrible trouble with comment-related plugins that require me to put some line in the comment loop; I can never seem to find the right spot. Can anyone tell me where I should put the php line in my comments loop? I haven not modified anything much, and I would be very grateful. Thanks!
