Since people cannot be trusted to do this, we must take this bold and harsh step of banning comic sans all together. I would also like to see a ban of Algerian, but that's for another day.

Some teachers use this font in every exam! It is very difficult to maintain a high level of concentration. One more reason to get rid of it. So yes it's true, This nasty font is used so many times out of it's context.
