Comic Sans MS is one of those fonts that you like at first glance, but start to hate as you start seeing it used just about everywhere. Sure, it may look good on kids' comics and shirts, but not everywhere. What's important is sensibility; a font can only do that much, especially when you squeeze every possible use out of it. This petition may not ever result in the font being done away with, but would at least raise a few eyeballs among marketeers (and maybe give our long strained eyes a break).
