I VEHEMENTLY DO NOT support this petition. If, per say, you were to get this font banned, then what would you do if you wanted to have a \"fun, breezy and silly\" font? In my personal opinion, I think that anyone who supports this ban should get a hobby, because if the biggest thing going on in your life right now is that a computer font is getting on your nerves, then obviously you need to spend a LOT less time on the WWW. Really people, take some acetaminophine and enjoy some fresh air, calm down and actually think about what you are getting upset about. There is a font meant to convey a \"fun, breezy and silly\" sense of writing. If you\'re a tight-wad, don\'t use it. =)

I DO NOT support this petition. Choosing a font is simply that; a choice. If anyone chooses that font for any purpose, whether it is appropriate or not, should not be thought to contribute to downfall typographic history. Compare to a young man listening to new age song thats completely nonsensical. If that becomes popular does it threaten the foundations of music? NO! Will banning it change anything? Well actually, banning would probably increase its influence and popularity. Close-minded fools. Taste the irony.
Since Kindergarten, every single one of my teachers has used this font on at least half of their handouts. It all built up in middle school and I\'ve had a strong hatred for Comic Sans ever since. I\'d like a world sans Comic Sans.

I support this petition. The gross overuse of Comic Sans in all forms degrades the integrity of any document on which it is found, leading to a lack of reliability and a decline in reliable sources.
