comic sans is quite possibly the most disgusting font to ever exist. It's ugly, and it makes serious documents written in it impossible to take seriously. It's childish and gross, and deserves to be banned for those reasons.
I thought the 9 pt black type on maroon pages in the menus in my restaurant were bad, until I went out for an after work burger and found a 32 page menu set in comic sans. Make it go away.
Just because you've got Comic Sans installed doesn't mean you have to use it. I've seen ENOUGH horrible use of this terrible type, that has no reason to exist. Do you want your work to look like puke? Use Comic Sans!
God awful use of typography across the world, due to every muppet have a PC, is eclipsed by the devil font itself....comic sans. Excuse me but I have to spit on the floor every time I hear its name. BAN IT!
Comis Sans SHOULD be sans. Its very old, its over used, its down-right disgusting. I for one have only used it once. And i still feel dirty till this day.

I'm so happy someone is doing something about this. I was truly getting sick of seeing "comic sans""comic sans""comic sans"...on every report at school. No one can be original and it's used much to often. BAN COMIC SANS!
I don't wanna see one single more document written in Comic Sans. This font is a pest and an insult towards anyone with even the slightest sense of TASTE.
comic sans... it's just one of those fonts that when veiwed (especially with a hangover or when excessively tired) makes you want too hurl your lap-top at the wall, violently throw up on it followed thereafter by a runnimg jump off a 400ft bridge that 'happens' to overlook an empty swimming pool!!! I am of neither a violent or suicidal nature. please ban comic sans!
