I understand if you were starving and u wanted something to eat..but hunters kill for stupid trophys or they're just cruel jerks who enjoy the sight of seeing ducks and other animals die!! Only shoot what you will eat that night,most duck hunters cant tell the difference between a duck and a falcon let alone endangered duck species, come to Australia and hunt our feral animals Pig,buffalo,camel,horse,c ats,dogs,cattle,canetoads ,indian minor birds if you insist on shooting something that flies,so long as you can tell the difference between those and our native ducks.

Truthfully, as long as you are going to make use of the body (instead of shooting for fun-now THAT is sick) such as eating the meat and using the feathers, it's ok. Humans are meant to eat other animals, despite what anyone says. We have canine teeth. Man has been a top predator for as long as we have existed. But we should still do it responsibly. Don't hunt endagered animals, and always abide by the limit. As long as we make sure there is enough left so that there will be some for the future generations, the animal didn't have prolonged suffering, and all of the duck was used, I have nothing wrong with this. I never could do it myself though, as I'm a huge bird lover XD
