Homework is a terrible thing. Sure it helps the kids who need extra credit, but that's what extra credit is for. All homework should be optional. For one thing, my back hurts and I have to go to a chiropractor from holding those books on my back. Another is that school is seven hours long. Why take another two or three at home, kids need that time to be kids. Homework is also bad for the kids that have extra curricular activities such as sports or even chess clubs.
