i whole heartedly support the idea of a closed season for bass. i am aware of the amount of bass taken and would love to see some control over thier capture.
bass = our future all around the north sea, southern and western waters. I am angeling representative in the RAC northsea and will do what i can to assure us and our childern a better sea angling future
i have been bass fishing to Guernsey on several occasions and caught and returned all fish caught so providing future sport for others. please do all you can so others can enjoy their sport
we have a big problem with cod too, here on the wirral. ppl travel for miles in the winter to massacre young mersey Cod. Ive seen cod as small as 8"-10" getting bagged up to go home. lets have a controll on all fish.
the lsland of Guernsey.must have a closed season on bass fishing. and encorage other areas to conserve the fish stocks through proper protection and managment.
i support your campaign 100% and feel all fish stocks should be pretected,in dorset we have bass spawning grounds which are always illegally netted and our stocks are visably depleting. the minimum size for all sea bass should be increased. good luck in your campaign.
We want to catch bass and cod of good size now and in the future. So someone has to stop the respectless commercial catches of cod and bass in the North Sea.
A carefully managed renewable resource will bring continuous economic benefits far greater than the short term profit made by a few through over fishing.
SAVEOURBASS!!!!
i am a local builder who is dedicated to bass rod and spearfishing in Guernsey all of my friends are anglers and we love to catch bass. Some of my friends are commercial fishermen and i am disgusted to hear that last year they were fishing the spawning grounds on the west coast taking tonnes of bass, i would definately like to support you and save our bass.
