The BCS is quickly becoming disliked and a major failure. Instead of updating it or trying to fix the bugs in it, why not just go to Play-Offs like NFL does. The failures of the BCS in recent years have caused so much controversy that it seems quite ridiculous to continue using this system.

To the NCAA Football Administration, please realize that fans have such little faith in the BCS that it's usually recognized as "Bull Crap Standings". This is USUALLY a sign that it is not working! This is a cry from a fan to replace this system by the 2007 season.

72 15 Sep 2007 - 2:32    Bennett Briles : College TV ratings would go up.
71 27 Jun 2007 - 19:06    jake flynn : playoffs!!!!!!!!!
70 2 May 2007 - 5:11    Jason : The BCS is horrible. A 16 or 32 team playoff would be good. Even more would still be good because there are already like twenty something bowl games. The BCS gives many teams the shaft like Boise State and Auburn a few years back when they were undefeated in the SEC, which is a hard feat. Playoffs would be awesome
69 29 Apr 2007 - 15:39    Shawn : I think it is unfair that smaller schools in the MAC and other smaller conferences don't get a chance at the NCAA championship, even if they win the conference. Set up playoffs with conference champs.
68 9 Apr 2007 - 23:16    Claire : we need to settle this on the field, not the computer!
67 25 Mar 2007 - 4:53    denny : we need this to see who deserves to go.
66 26 Feb 2007 - 10:02    Josh : I would love to see a playoff system.
65 30 Jan 2007 - 18:31    Matt Beam :
64 14 Jan 2007 - 11:54    Dan : Penn State got ****ed last year. If they dont put a playoff system in soon im going to rip their weiners off.
63 13 Jan 2007 - 6:26    Paul Garbe : Boise State played the most incredible game I have ever seen, giving glory and honor to the great sport of football. The deserve to fight to be the champs. But that won't happen because of this bowl system so I say save the next Cinderella team and make it a playoff system!
62 10 Jan 2007 - 3:42    Bob : Teams shouldn't have to wait half a season to play the last game.
61 5 Jan 2007 - 20:34    Willy : i there was a playoff teams would have a chance to really show what they got.
60 31 Dec 2006 - 2:53    Scott : There is no possible argument that makes sense for KEEPING the BCS. A high ranking NCAA official claims: "We are already making money off the current system". I say: HEY IDIOT, think of how much MORE money you would make (especially in increased television revenue, leading to larger contracts with FOX/ABC) with a playoff system! I could write a 50 page thesis on why the BCS blows, so I'll stop here.
59 26 Dec 2006 - 13:54    Jason Marino : I'm all down for some playoffs... the games would be so sick!
58 24 Dec 2006 - 1:42    Paul : Time to wake up. Voting for a champion is ridiculous. Play it on the field like big boys. Could you imagine the money to be made with a 16 team playoff. December Delirium Indeed!
57 17 Dec 2006 - 15:21    Gerald Henderson : BCS is by far the most unjust system in all sports. Most compare it to figureskating byt at least in skating humans pick the winner and pretty much any skater has a chance to win. Not in the BCS. BCS makes major college football worse than figure skating. That's pitiful.
56 14 Dec 2006 - 6:31    jake foley : this would without a doubt make college football way more exciting and give each team a good chance to win
55 11 Dec 2006 - 4:38    James : I think a 24 team play-off would make college football more exciting and draw more interest than college basketball's march madness i mean they spread the bowl games out over the month of December anyways why not have it be a top 24 having the bottom 16 play 2 weeks after the last week of the season with the top 8 getting a bye week the the winners from that are seeded according it would be over in 1 month after the college football season is over and you could still have the national championship new years weekend i think a system like that would work better and also all colleges should finish they seasons on the same week end not 3 weeks apart thanks and i hope something along these lines gets done
54 8 Dec 2006 - 3:09    Geoff : The BCS is BS. Being a die-hard Michigan fan, they got screwed over just because their schedule ended early. The system is incredibly flawed. It's ridiculous that there aren't playoffs. Div. 1-AA and 1-AAA have playoffs so I don't see how playoffs could not work for Div. I-A.
53 8 Dec 2006 - 3:07    Greg Self : Playoffs work so much better...
52 8 Dec 2006 - 1:33    Brian : Computers dont make champions....put it on the field!
51 6 Dec 2006 - 22:01    Jake : The BCS is just a scapegoat and an easy way out of any argument the "talking heads" and so called experts get into.. they just blame it on the BCS... well lets get rid of it and have a real Champion that earns there way into the title game and not have some computer decide..
50 6 Dec 2006 - 15:12    Adam : Tournaments make champions. The BCS is as legit as WWE.
49 6 Dec 2006 - 7:55    Matt : Playoffs.....definately
48 6 Dec 2006 - 7:13    Anthony : THE BCS ****S!!!
47 6 Dec 2006 - 7:06    violeta :
46 6 Dec 2006 - 6:52    Ed Bob : I don't even like Boise State, but they went 12-0 this year!!!! and aren't even given a chance at the national title, Do the right thing, Create a Playoff system that will Make the Bowl games EVEN MORE IMPORTANT and an Undisputed National Champion Possible.
45 6 Dec 2006 - 5:52    matt : every div 1 team deserves a shot off the national title, and cant do that unless ranked
44 5 Dec 2006 - 8:51    mike b : the bcs standings are bull**** they should go to playoffs like the NFL they would be a lot more exciting
43 5 Dec 2006 - 4:56    samir : BCS works once in a while we need a playoff
42 4 Dec 2006 - 8:35    mike : the bcs system is absolutly awful. there is no way michigan should have been taken out of 2nd place when they did nothing to deserve a fall in the rankings. system has needed to be replaced for some time, and this is the last straw.
41 4 Dec 2006 - 8:07    Kyle : the bcs is ridiculous. this year michigan should have totally been in the title game, but the damn bcs kept them out and and now were missin a great rematch with ohio st.
40 4 Dec 2006 - 7:49    John :
39 4 Dec 2006 - 3:16    Austin : Champions are decided on the field by the players and coaches, not by some computer sitting on a desk somewhere or by some Joe Blow who just wants to see his team play in the championship
38 3 Dec 2006 - 7:06    Marc Sanko : BCS blows, every other college system (including other football leagues) have a playoff!!
37 3 Dec 2006 - 7:04    James G :
36 2 Dec 2006 - 22:27    Tony R : we need so that teams like Florida and Bosie State get a chance for the 'ship
35 30 Nov 2006 - 10:35    Shane : If the other football divisions can have a playoff, then so can D-I
34 28 Nov 2006 - 6:23    Jay Pridham : This is the only equitable way to determine a college football champion.
33 27 Nov 2006 - 23:11    Lars : Stop living in the dark ages!
32 26 Nov 2006 - 11:23    Alex :
31 24 Nov 2006 - 21:02    randy :
30 24 Nov 2006 - 1:11    Jake :
29 21 Nov 2006 - 22:47    Steve :
28 21 Nov 2006 - 12:12    James Tremblay : The BCS is a load of horses**t! Who ends up playing in the national championship game? The best two teams on paper and in the eyes of voters, not the actual top two teams in the country.
27 21 Nov 2006 - 7:52    Lauren :
26 21 Nov 2006 - 5:00    Phil Giles : I hate the BCS
25 21 Nov 2006 - 4:24    Nathan : The only way to know the true national champ.
24 21 Nov 2006 - 2:05    Dan Giles : PLEASE
