We, the owners of the Blu-ray Disc technology encourage Universal Studios to release its films on the Blu-ray disc format as you do with the HD DVD format. Soon there will be millions of Blu-ray disc players in homes throughout the world and that the decision for Universal Studios to release its films on the Blu-ray disc technology makes perfect sense, both fiscally and with customer appreciation.

Bluray is the future- Universal should look to the future as such companies like TDK has already gotten a double layer bluray disk with the capicity of 100-200 gb. rather than a format stating that it's HD-DVD whilte certain titles are compressed. Bluray has all the extra space why continue to support a format when your compressing tittle in the soon to be dead HD-DVD.

Blu-ray is the technically superior format by far, and has the vast majority of support from both hardware manufacturers and Movie Studios. Let's end this stupid format war NOW.

The writing is on the wall Universal. I would gladly buy your movies if you released them on Blu-ray. I have bought 24 Blu-ray titles since buying my PS3 in May 2007.

In 2006 I could understand their position but wake up and smell the coffee Universal!

Blu-Ray is going to be the winner as it has been destroying HD-DVD since Xmas. Plus it is the more advanced format with a 200GB limit!

I've bought over 20 movies for my blu-ray player and will NEVER buy HD-DVD simply because 15gb a layer compared to 25gb a layer is far to big a difference to make it future proof for long, as well as the fact that epic length films such as LOTR will require much more than 15 gb ... Blu-Ray is the superior technology and the sooner you all realize it the sooner this retarded war can end.

I will not support Universal and I will encourage my friends not to either. Universal needs to step up and make blu ray discs. Their current policy is offensive to the consumer.

I cancelled vacation to Universal Studios and will not buy any Universal product until they support blu-ray. P.S. I am going to Disney World instead, they support blu-ray.

I will wait until a Blu-ray Disc appears rather then buy a DVD.

I already bought a PS3 and have watched several BD movies. Impressive. Universal needs to support Bluray.

let's face it, supporters of both formats are very protective over what they feel is the better format. i for one can't stand this competition, and the fact of the matter is that all it would take is for selfish universal to get off their ass and support blu-ray then the format wr can end and we, the people (who are the victims) wont be forced to pick! i understand hd-dvd supporters want to win, but it would be far easier for 1 studio (universal) to change their position than for teh abundance that support blu-ray (sony, 20th century fox, etc) to change theirs!

Blu-ray is amazing. I won't buy any more DVD's unless they are blu-ray, because I am not re-buying the movies.
