MOLLY. you obviously don't know what you are talking about. I did a yearlong research project about the beatles and they are one of the greatest bands ever. my parents did not brainwash me. they didn't even help me research AT ALL. I figured out ON MY OWN that the Beatles rock. obviously, you don't understand the '60s. it was popular to do drugs. just like it's popular now to do Myspace. I'm not saying that the beatles were the greatest band ever. there's led zeppelin, the who, jimi hendrix, and more. oh and by the way,

listen molly. go kill youself. The Beatles were the greatest. my parents don't even like the beatles....they took rock and roll into an uncharted territory.....they were crowd followers....crowds followed them....you didnt see anyoen else doing transedal meditiation

The Beatles are by far the greatest inovators of modern music. As far as the comment posted by Molley I must rebutal.... One amazing song(s) (lyric-wise) would be 'In My Life', 'You've Got to Hide Your Love Away', 'A Day in the Life', 'Black Bird' (a song about the black women's sufferage movement, and "Let it Be' to name a few. As far as talent show-casing on insturments try Paul McCartney playing guitar on 'Blackbird' and 'Mother Nature's Son' - Paul McCartney's Bass on 'Helter Skelter', 'Dear Prudence', and 'I Want You (She's So Heavy) to name a few.... John Lennon's guitar playing on 'Dear Prudence' and 'Julia' are sublime. As far as composition try 'Goodnight', 'Elinore Rigby' and 'When I'm Sixty-Four' Remember the Mozart never recorded himself playing any insturments........

the beatles kinda sucked. i mean, come on. can you say crowd-followers? once everyone was doing drugs, they were... you all are just saying that you like them because your parents have brain-washed you into thinking they're the greatest band ever... yet, they've been brainwashed too... "paul is dead" wasn't the only subliminal message hidden in they're songs. fuck... name one amazing song lyric-wise... and name one amazing song that shows talent with an instrument...
