With the increase in premiums and decrease in usable benefits and coverage in the Beaumont Employee Health Plan have prompted subscribers everywhere to become quite angry.

I propose that the premiums stay the same or increase very little, while pharmacy and other health benefits are improved. I would also like to propose that the hospital's discount policy of not charging employees the emergency room copay be reinstated.

As it stands, the Beaumont Outpatient Pharmacy can't handle the demand put on it by the poor new pharmacy coverage. Maintenance medications cannot be refilled at a retail pharmacy more than three times, and this detail has caused every employee with a maintenance medication to flock to the pharmacy at once. I would like to propose an elimination of this stipulation and further changes to the Pharmacy benefit. I would also like to propose that the emergency copay be scaled back down to $35.
