I am still so angry over the lack of judgement of NBC and Speed's new
management. At least with NBC, you kind of hope maybe they were thinking
they could have the best of both worlds with Allen doing pit reporting and
some bonus ****yst work, but Speed's new management doesn't have
that. What will they do when ratings plummet like I know they will - NASCAR
has the most loyal fans in the world, and just as most use or do not use a
certain product according to what their favorite driver uses/does not use,
we will exercise that same judgement when our favorite broadcaster has been
so obviously wronged. |

Allen Bestwick is a wonderful person, has a great on-air presence, and
unlike the morons in the booth (being Wally, Bill and Benny), knows what
his job is and does it perfectly. As far as Dave Despain goes...He's
definitely no replacement for Allen. I think I may just cancel my cable for
the sake of getting rid of Speed Channel. |

commentator for races. Webber makes me sick. His voice is squeaky and his

Speed already lost me as a viewer for Nascar Nation, now they're going
to lose me as a viewer for Inside Nextel Cup. What are you people at SPEED
thinking? Getting rid of Allen is a bad move plain and simple. And NBC/TNT,
put him back in the booth! He, Benny and Wally work so well together!
Between moving Allen out of the booth and the 3 minutes of broadcast then
off to a 3 minute commercial break, I'm tempted to watch nothing but
the On Demand in car camera for the whole race!

Get rid of Weber and bring back Allen in the booth. I will not watch Inside
Nextel Cup if Allen is not the host. You have already lost me as a viewer
of Nascar Nation. The only reason I have a subscription to Speed is because
of the Nascar coverage that you previously aired and all of the changes
that you have made to each show has been terrible. I am seriously thinking
about cancelling my subscription all together because now there is never
anything on that I am willing to watch.
If you people can't see that Allen is talented and knows what he is
talking about then perhaps you should all think of a career change. |

I will not watch Nascar Nation since the changes and now will not watch
Inside Nextel Cup after Allen leaving. He is a class act the truly cares

It's real simple. Allen is a professional. Weber serves no useful
purposes on this planet. I know that Brian France has a lot of influence
over who does what in the broadcast booth, but grow yourselves a set and
put Allen back in the booth and send Weber to go cover the Tiddlywinks with
Manhole Covers Tournaments. |
