His knowledge and professionalism will be sorely missed on INC & in the NBC booth. This was the first year I wasn't very enthuisastic about FOX & their gang of idiots finishing the first half of the season but if NBC continues with this mistake, I might have to order the in-car package on cable next year just so I can enjoy racing again.

To get rid of him at all is the biggest mistake a network can make. Webber is a fool. Just listen to the comments he makes. He overstates the obvious and makes up questions to incite the drivers as well as the fans. Remember when he asked Dale Jr. on Fathers Day how it felt to race on that day. What a jerk!!

Allen Bestwick is a professional who does a great job of covering the racing -- gee isn't that the point - rather than pandering to the personalities. Between NBC/TNT making an idiotic change in the booth and Speed Channel replacing Allen with Dave Despain - who in his own words, loathes NASCAR and never goes to the races. I'd like to have an informed intelligent person in the booth broadcasting the little that we see of the races anyway. Considering the price of my cable bill, it still amazes me with the number of commercials that need to be shown rather than the racing that I'm tuning in/paying to see. Allen is doing a great job in the pits, but he was even better in the races. They kidded him all the time about his "math" skills, but he could call a race. Bring Allen Back.

With all of the changes which have taken place in NASCAR over the last 2 seasons, my enjoyment of the sport continues to decline. If they do not correct this latest mistake and put Allen Bestwick back in the broadcast booth with Wally, it will be the final straw. I WILL NOT CONTINUE TO WATCH NASCAR PROGRAMMING UNLESS ALLEN BESTWICK IS BROUGHT BACK TO THE BOOTH!

I fell NBC is jelous of Nascars ratings and stardom over stick and ball sports and this is ther way of making sure Nascar does not take full share of the sports market in television sports coverage. Even Jay Leno said it best. You stink!NBC
