Joe's the only candidate who answers a question with a direct Yes or No. He then goes on to explain why he feels the way he does. Every other candidate - in fact, every other politician that I've ever heard - never provides a straightforward Yes or No before launching into a long speech about the subject. Joe also has magnificent qualifications for the job. and either Tom Vilsack (Iowa) or John Edwards would make an excellent running mate, giving either of them a chance to build their own record to run for President later.
Senator Biden has 36 years of experience in national office and is very knowledgable and articulate. These are very dangerous times. We're vulnerable to terrorists, we're losing in Iraq, and our jobs are going overseas. We need substance this time, not glamour or novelty.
We need a leader more than ever in 2008. We have had a leadership vacuum in this country since Nixon. Joe Biden is the man. We don't need a rock star or the latest political fad. We need a real man with real ideas that shoots straight. Joe Biden is that man!
Biden is definitely the best candidate on the currently list from the DNC. After seeing him him speak over the past couple of weeks he has my backing! I believe he is a new generation of Democrat that cares more about this country and it's people then about politics.
I'd make time to work to get Joe Biden elected. He needs to come into the race at the right time to overcome the current headliners and get the nomination. He is absolutely the most competent person for the job at this time. I've been impressed with him ever since first hearing him after 9/11.

I think he has what it takes....and by comparison to DUBYA he looks fantastic.
He needs to be paired with a Red State moderate that can actually win in the south unlike John Edward's who as VP candidate with Kerry failed to win his onw state. This in large part lost the election, similarly with Gore in 2000 he failed to carry his own state, with the same result.
He needs to put together a package to beat McCain if he emerges as the Republican candidate. The problem with McCain is that he will attract come Democrats and maybe with justifaction given some of his positions.
Ergo Biden needs a CP candidate that can deliver.

I've been telling people for months now that I thought the best democrat for '08 would be Sen. Biden and I am excited to learn today he is seriously considering a run.
My husband and I wanted you to run in 2004 and think what a better world we might have had. I have since relocated to the UK out of frustration for our government. Please run and make me proud to be from America again.
This country needs a democrat with experience.the other potential candidates in the limelight at this time to me are nothing more than window dressing.Biden thinks like we do.It will take someone with a strong costitution and backbone to ever straighten out the mess the present admin. has gotten us into.I support this petition wholeheartedly.May god save our government.

I have several ideas for the senator on horw the Democrats can win this fall. One obviously is Iraq. It is atrocious. We need not to have a named-date pull out, but a phased redeployment. The Senator needs also tosay that we (the Democrats) need to do more to protect Americans from terrorism. What about our train system? What about our bus system? What about containers at our seaports. They are all open to terrorists attacks. The Bush adminstration has done alot, but considerably more needs to be done, including extracting ourselves from Iraq!
