I was the NYC campus coordinator for Students for Biden in 1988, and I've never abandoned the faith. I have no doubt you'd make an excellent President and more importanly, given the last two Presidential election, an exemplary candidate, certainly superior to any of the current Dem. hopefuls(H.Clinton, Edwards, Bayh, Feingold). And I welcome the opportunity to contribute once again.

I'm sick of the wimps that we Democrats usually run for President. Joe Biden is the only person in our party who acts like a man. What do you think would be Joe Biden's response if his valor was questioned? Do you think he would sit back and let the GOP define him? No way. Biden can win.
We need a heavyweight in the 2008 fight who has a balanced view on promoting business while protecting employees, consumers and the environment and on securing this country but not abandoning the civil rights and liberties that have made it great.
I'm not sure I would vote for Sen Biden as I'm typically conservative. But I would be very glad to see him on the ballot as I feel he is a worthy candidate, and he would have a chance of swaying my vote if, unlike most Dem. candidates he would campaign on his own values and significant insight into world issues rather than pandering to interest groups as I feel Dems (and Rep's) are so guilty of doing in recent years. Basically the first worthy candidate for president (for which I think there have been none in 20+ years) gets my full support. Men like Biden are what is missing from our Presidential races. Hillary? -- please. What does she stand for besides furthering her own quest for power (and probably settling old scores)?

I have always thought that Senator Biden would make an excellent President and wondered why he didn't run sooner. I saw his very direct and honest answer on Sunday about seeing if he had the money raising ability to make a run for the nomination and frankly I am looking for a web site to make a financial pledge of support. I can't get more positive than that!

I have liked Senator Biden since watching the Clarence Thomas hearings on TV. He seems to focus on issues without attacking the opposition.
I believe we need more effective dialogue instead of belligerence in our leaders.

He makes more sense than any politician I ever heard and I listen a lot. If I could vote he would get my vote. He has common sense which is rare in Washington. He is America’s best hope.
I have been waiting for this announcement for a long time. I am only 25 years old, but have admired the intelligence and caring attitude that Joe has brought to the state of Delaware and the United States of America. It is about time that we get an intelligent, "people person" in the White House!
