To be sacked in such a way would have bought about court cases and public outcry in anyone else...it is a crime, and worse, a shame, to have got rid of the only cabinet MP I would trust.

I absolutely agree with the summary, and it is all too obvious that Boris - already chastened - should be taken back to his seat on the front bench of the Tory party.
The generic email Michael Howard's flunkey's sent was frankly, a load of flannel. We need colourful politicians, not smarmy, grey nobodies like Mr Howard et al. Dare I mention David Blunket and DNA...? hard to compare-but he was supported by his boss. Poor Boris!!
The Great Man should be re-instated with immediate effect and made Michael Howard's offical spokes-person on Conservative Party policy. It's the only way to get Labour out of Power!

What a terrible shame. Boris is loved by one and all. His private life should be just that. Michael - you need him and the support he has.Think you need to find a way round this error of judgement and quickly.

Michael Howard... leader of the conservatives, the listening party? How come nobody can email Mr Howard with any info regarding boris. It's a crying shame when the listening party cannot even listen to their followers. Bring back Boris. While I don't agree with some of his views and ideas (me leaning more to the left) I still think boris is a brilliant politician. He is always brilliantly witty and likes to be honest on his opinions. The sacking of him is just completely wrong and he should be reintstated.
Boris was perhaps the only Tory politician that the majority people in this country could relate to, his sacking is a step backwards for a party that desperately needs to modernise.
I shall wallow in pity for Boris as I only support all his activities,these ridiculous accusations are sheer piffle.

Not a Tory supporter myself but Boris appeals across the party divide. (Probably because he steers clear of political issues whilst fraternising with the wider mass media. Clever chap) Let's face it, UK politics is a dull old affair and Boris livens things up and would be an asset to any Party. (Shame he had to go and pick the Tories, but there you go.)
