I have never been a loyal TV viewer for any particular show but I made a point to watch this show every Sunday. I'm very disappointed that it is no longer on the air
There is only one show I watch on ABC and it is Boston Legal. Congratulations on bumping it to next season. I'll now be watching FOX's Revelations in that time spot. Now I watch ZERO ABC shows. If you want me to even think of watching a show on ABC ever again you'll bring back Boston Legal which is one of the best shows running, or was anyway.
Boston Legal is witty, adult, sophisticated and thoroughly entertaining. Boston Legal is the perfect irrevent show to follow Desperate Housewives. Please return Boston Legal to this timeslot when you begin 'rerunning' shows and heavily promote it for the fall season.
Boston Legal is as top-notch and individual a production as Lost and Desperate Housewives. It has sizzle, bounce, energy and originality.
And, frankly, we find your current hospital flick to be a rehash of the already done-to-dealth hospital 'dramas'.
I just love Boston Legal. It makes me laugh out loud and I was heartbroken when I heard it might be cancelled. I have turned multitudes of people on to it. And, it's insulting that ANOTHER MEDICAL show has replaced it!!
Pleaze, if you have to move the show, place it on a night where it can survive and hopefully thrive! Anything on Thursday's will kill this show - Tuesday's @ 10 is the best bet!! Pleaze, ABC!
It is beyond my comprehension what demographics ABC used for its cancellation of "Boston Legal" in favour of another tired hospital drama. E.R. did it best for a few years. That definitely saturated the market for another hospital drama. The story lines and the ham acting in the hospital show are pathetic, so is the writing. I have simply had enough of such garbage. Then, along came "The Practice," which, subsequently, brought us a spinoff in "Boston Legal." When it first appeared, I had a difficult time to locate the show because ABC moved it around each week. Here, we have a ratings rage between a classy and innovative show like "Boston Legal," but, what do we get? A hospital show with lousy writing because it is impossible to develop a story line if you have dozens of main characters in a show. And, "Boston Legal," a high-quality product will restart in the fall season. OH, PLEASE! If ABC's would read and analyze demographics the way professional shows usually do (except ABC), the latter should have know it had a REAL hit on its hands. What's the rule now in ABC? "For heavens sake, no excellence!" "Mediocre is what we do best. Not true. you had excellent shows. "Boston Legal" never had a chance to find its audience because the audience did not FIND THE SHOW.
I just discovered this great show a couple of months ago. I keep telling my friends about it and they already watch it...but it has disappeared! Grey's Anatomy is ok, but don't bump Boston Legal, please.
I workin a downtown detroit hospital. Every sunday nite we post px of Denny Crane and Alan Shore to refrigerator and proceed to watch the best show on tv Boston Legal. Everyone scours around to get to a tv to see it. Grey's Anatomy is just another poorly slopped together unrealistic representation of our beloved profession...Somebody go get the emesis basins!!!!!
Perhaps this is late, but it's never too late to tell you how sorely missed Boston Legal is. Grey's Anatomy is a waste of time. It's like a spin off of ER but it flatlines...nothing
very substantial. On the other hand,
Boston Legal provides the likes of talented actors like Spader,
Shatner, Bergan, etc., to pull off those saucy, lovable,characters. And their script is sensational,i.e., pertinent, controversal, hallarious, intimate,tender,etc.
And I savor the unwritten script of
the performers,
i.e.,a glance, body
language, esp. by Mr.Special Spader.
Please Hurry back!!! Never leave

"Boston Legal" and "24" are the only two shows I actively make time to watch. Anything else I watch on TV is strictly accidental. Without "Boston Legal" there would be no reason to watch TV on Sundays.
I miss the show, the characters, the originalty. I know it's been renewed, but please air the episodes that are already in the can, now; not wait til next season.
I eagerly and joyfully watched Boston Legal, and will be quite content when the show returns. I have this restless, empty feeling now. Grey's Anatomy is good, but not the same.
Always been a fan of Shatner - get a kick out of "Denny Crane"! Keep this show on the air! it makes Sunday night a complete ABC evening... ps: i won't watch Grey's!
This is my favorite show ...PLEASE keep it on! it's so good i have even begun to LIKE William Shatner as an actor! the plots are current and smart! the characters possibly the BEST EVER on any show! don't let this show get away!
This is THE single best written comedy/drama on television today!
Too many new shows write "down" to an audience, it's great to see one that assumes it's audience has some intellect.
Keep it on air.
Boston Legal is THE best show on TV. The only thing worth watching. ABC played these same games with The Practice and killed it in the process. Bring back Boston Legal. Boston Legal reruns would be better than anything else.
What in the world were you thinking of. You finally get the viewing audience you have been waiting for, and then poof! you take the show off. Please bring back Boston Legal!
Boston Legal and The Daily Show were the only things keeping me from thinking the country had fallen completely into the hands of the criminally insane. (And the timeslot was perfect!)
I could not believe that when I tuned in to watch my favorite Sunday night show, it was not on!!! Grey's anatomy does not even come close to how witty Boston Legal is!! Not to mention the great cast. Please return the show to TV where it belongs!
I can't believe ABC would make such a riduculous decision to take a wonderful, serious and funny show off the air. I would suggest the shows head people who make the decisions be put on hiatus and let some fresh minds takeover. ABC, you are making a big mistake. Paula Gardner
Characters, story plot, wit, sarcasm, creative writing, sex appeal...its just missing the darn scrubs, ABC. Throw Denny Crane into some scrubs and get BOSTON LEGAL back on TV NOW!!!
Don't take Boston Legal away!! It's the only network series that's smart enough to speak out against the atrocities of the bush administration. It's my favorite show. How dare you replace it with that shallow "Grey's Anatomy".
ABC has totally blown it, by putting Boston Legal on the shelf until the Fall! I despised ER when it was on, so ABC won't be turning me into a fan of the new show. They must have smoked too much dope when they made the decision the shelve BL. Maybe I'll go back to watching Crossing Jordan until we have our show back on. Thanks for shafting us fans once again ABC! We need the laughs of Boston Legal to end our weekends on a good note!
I will not watch ABC until Boston Legal is back on Sunday night were it belongs, We have to many medical shows.House, on Fox, blows your show out of the water.Get with it
We switch from ABC as soon as Desperate Housewives is over. WE always loved Boston Legal, but this new show is awful. When Boston Legal comes back to ABC, so will we.
Why was this excellent and well-written show unceremoniously dumped? My husband and I are waiting for Boston Legal to come on a few weeks back and instead some stupid new show. Huh??? How insulting to your viewers!! We WILL NOT WATCH the stupid new doctor show whose name I refuse to mention. Does Emmy Award mean nothing to you people?
Bring back Boston Legal. That new show you have in place of it, isn't all that. The Korean girl on the new show, Eeeeeeeeeeeeek!!!! I won't be watching that time slot anymore till Boston Legal comes back.....Ralph
