Please don't cancel this show! It's the most intelligent, funny, moving show on TV. Everyone in my family watches it, from my parents (in their 50s) to my 17 year old cousin.
Thank you ABC, Fox, and David Kelley for finally creating a show with mass appeal. Boston legal challenges your intellect, makes you laugh until your sides hurt, and makes you grab the box of kleenex to wipe away the tears. The cast has been beautifully constructed and you could not ASK for for two better actors than James Spader and William Shatner. Please keep this show on the air.
Just when ABC starts to do something right, they think about taking it (Boston Legal) off the air, possibly in favor of John Stamos? Boston Legal is one of the few bright spots on TV. Kelley and ABC truly have created a recipe for success and it would be a shame if the show were to be cancelled.
The cast the writing needs to keep going so we can continue to have quality tv and David E. Kelley has put his heart and soul into this. Don't need this go by the wayside too!
Shatner and Spade are brilliant. The scripts are the best thing Kelley has done in years. Give the show the promo it deserves. What are you afraid of...the religious right?
This is the only network television show that I watch every week, and one of only two shows that I make a point to watch. I love it. My 19-year-old daughter won't miss it either.
This is the best show on TV, a combination of humor and heart-wrenching drama, with wonderful acting from major and minor characters. Great writing, always timely. Please renew!
The only show I wait for every week is boston legal. I belive if the show was on more regularly the same time every sunday the show would undoubtly get the credit it deserves for being the best drama on television.
I can never stop laughing whenever William Shatner simply says "Denny Crain!" The only person that could play that part better would be......well, me, of course!
There are three reasons to renew this show: (1) No other show on television is using the talents of so many "older" actors who nonetheless appeal to younger viewers because they are amazingly talented and funny; (2)William Shatner; (3) James Spader. Please. There's nothing else like it and the performances have been astonishing.
Plus, the Alan Shore/Denny Crane relationship is the sweetest romance on tv.
Bill Shatner and James Spader are absolutely brilliant and make the show for me. I can't imagine my week without Boston Legal in it. My in-laws, my husband and I look forward to it all week. Please, please renew it.
Intelligently entertaining...witty and wacky at the same time...plus great characters...even the minor parts sparkle (e.g. Betty White, Henry Gibson, Rene Auberjonois). I would miss it greatly if the mediocrity that is most network TV were to swallow it.
The only problem with BL is that it is not on every week at the same time!! It is the best series on ABC or any network. James Spader is "brilliant" as well as the rest of the cast and as far as the writing-"outstanding"!! Please renew for season two, three, four.....
Boston Legal is one of my favorite shows; haven't missed a single episode. Writing is excellant. James Spader is wonderful. And what can you say about Wm.Shatner....Denny Crane!!! What a combination! Hilarious!! This show is a definite keeper. Personally I'm sick of reality shows and look forward to Sunday evenings to see the entire cast of Boston Legal. By the way, it was a great touch to cast Betty White and Candice Bergen. Both really add to the show. PLEASE RENEW FOR A 2ND; 3RD, ETC SEASON.
Boston Legal is
humorous, thought-provoking, and extremely well-acted. I want to see this show on ABC EVERY week and PLEASE reduce the annoying number of commercials which interfere with the storyline. RENEW BOSTON LEGAL FOR A SECOND SEASON AND CRANK UP THE HEAT!
The dialog is amazing. I never miss this show. Finally a program that appeals at an intelligent humorous level. The cast is perfect. Don't be foolish - this show is a winner!
It will be a sad day indeed if you pull the plug on this gem before its time. In twenty years, Boston Legal will be remembered as a classic show of this decade, if given the chance. Shows like M*A*S*H and Cheers took a season or two to catch ratings fire. What a shame it would have been if CBS and NBC hadn't given those shows the chance their quality demanded. The depth of character on this show has YEARS of potential stories. Don't be foolish ABC. Renew Boston Legal today! Less vapid reality shows and more Denny Crane!
You've got two of the best actors working together on the same show, and you want to cancel? Not on your life. I tune in specifically to watch Shatner and Spade play off one another. This is the only show I religiously watch. This show is at its best when it stops with the quirkiness and gets to the serious business of what makes people tick. Think about a different writer or two, but don't cancel.
Please renew! Sunday night is the ONLY night of the week I'm willing to 1) get my kids to bed on time with NO exceptions and 2) stay up till 11 pm. It's a sacrifice well worth it to get to see all new episodes of Desperate Housewives and Boston Legal!
I haven't seen the first episode yet, but am anxiously awaiting it. I loved The Practice, and James Spader and William Shatner are just great actors. PLEASE have an episode 2.... Janette
If ABC is wondering why they didn't maintain the type of ratings they were getting in late January, my opinion is the intermittent airing of the show in Feb. and March. You lose viewers when you keep us guessing...
why? Why? WHY!? would it even be a POSSIBILITY that you are considering not moving forward with this, thee BEST show on Network television today. The weeks that it has NOT aired this season have been...well...annoying. Please don't take that annoying to the ultimate level. BRING THIS SHOW BACK!!! For Season 2...and 3...and 4...you get the idea...
This is one of the more sophisticated comedies around...on level with w/ Seinfeld, Friends, Will and Grace. It's not about fart jokes and ole hubby doing something stupid. It's bright, witty, intelligent and edgy. We need more of these that the former I just described. KEEP IT ON!
