Hi, my name is Mark and I am also a gay who happens to own a Nintendo Wii (seems to be compulsory these days that if you are gay, you own a Wii).I was wondering if anyone knew of any Air Traffic Controller simulators for the Wii?I would love to wave my Wiimote around whilst directing simulated areoplanes onto the tarmac, imagining that each and every plane that lands hada) Boxes full of Wii games onb) Lots of gay air stewards for me to Bum!
Hi, my name is James the Gaylord (Lazybond) and I am soooooooo gay!I live in Chester and love to play on the Wii with all of the other gay people who own Wii's from my Monday night card game.We all like to play with each others Wii!Moss Moss Moss
I think that the Wii is designed for Japs, Kids and Women!
You are all Gay, sooooo Gay and gayer than a gay thing!
If anyone from Cardskool is reading this, your Gay as well!
The WII SUCKS!
I will explain:
Okay, playing with movement detection is cool, that's a good thing of the WII.
But do you see yourself playing a FPS with a remote control?
It is quite fun, that wii sports etc.
But it will get boring, because you can't play normal games with a remote control, and i bet you will get crazy of that movement detection!
Greetings,
Frits.
it was weird when i first heard the name change from revolution to wii but now i like wii better, easier to pronounce then sayin the revolution all the time :P
because i'm conscientious enough to not hold Nintendo in contempt for using a name one might find ridiculously inadequate. Lets 'bii' (see what I did there!!) rational.
I dislike gimp fanboys who, because of their weinerosity, think they have some kind of ownbership over a product produced by a company based thousands of miles away. Weiners, I'm super serial.
The new name is just perfect. You get the Wiimote controller, stick in you memowii card, and wii all have fun wiith it. Wiily, i don't see why people would want to change it!
Wii!
because when I own this console and the xbox360 (when it has more than 3 games worth the upgrade) I will be able to sit the new Nintendo device on top of the xbox 360...In short 'I will be having a Wii on the xbox360'.
=8-P
I support this petition because I hate Nintendo. It SHOULD be called Wii. Now Xbox, my fav system, is REALLY gonna pwn! KEEP THE NAME WII PLEASE! HELP THE OTHER SYSTEMS!!!
Just a note: It's not called the Nintendo Wii. I can't edit the petition details after it's been signed so it'll stay as is. But it's Wii and only Wii. No Nintendo prefix. That is all.
And tell your friends!
^_^
I support this petition. I thought the name was dumb at first, but I understand Nintendo's goals and intentions, and couldn't agree more with the company. As Perrin Kaplan said, it's the combination of the name and logo that is really strong. My only complaint with the name is that unlike things like Google, Napster and Amazon, saying Wii out loud makes you feel a little stupid. However, I support Nintendo and am learning to live with my objections to the name. Go Nintendo!
I support this petition.
the name was surprising like the controller. And like the controller it's very simple but also genious. It fits very good to the new console..although I have to laugh about it..but I sure will never forget it.
You can't pay for this kind of publicity. Outside of that, I like the concept behind the name and it's hilarious that these people are so upset about it.
Wii is good just like "Touching is Good"
I support this petition.
Wii in french means "Yes". So "Wii" 4 Wii.
Who can be a real fan with petition against Wii.
The Wii symbolizes a real Revolution with this name.
Are they real narrow minded? So be with it : "Wii are with Wii".
And play Wiid every day!
Nintendo want something that will be ubiquitous and become a household name like Yahoo! (an exclamation). Wii is something that's just way out there it goes over the head of most forum posting gamers. But it's starting to grow on me.
Sure, there are many jokes you can make with the name. But because the name is, in a sense, laughable, makes the name stick in your mind even more. So, in my opinion, "Wii" is not a marketing blunder, but a little bit of out-of-the-box genius.
There is absolutely no good reason for people to complain about the name. The public makes it seem like it will affect the actual product. As long as its got Super Smash Bros Online, I say who cares?
The reason why the "Wii" sounds so strange it because it is the only console with a one syllable name. It won't take long for people to get used to it.
I'm kind of in the middle on the name, but everyone needs to calm the hell down. Seriously. I mean, I guess they're just having fun, but it's really juvenile and obnoxious.
People cannot accept the fact that Nintendo didn't name the system something cliche and/or "xtream". If the Game Cube was called Dolphin it would not of kicked any less ass. If the DS was a GbP (Game Brick Portable) it would be just as successful. It's different and we are here to take a stand.
Nintendo Wii
The future of gaming, so get with it!
Wii sure is a weird name - but that's why I like it. And when you get down to it, the name is nothing bu t branding. Think about it even more and this whole event surrounding the name is the best form of viral advertising that Nintendo could ask for at this moment in time. Those who like the name and those who don't - EVERYONE is psyched for N to drop the Wii bomb at e3.
Open minded,
Silent K
I support this petition.
Wii is fantastic for a host of reasons. You'll see a bunch of folks come around shortly and even the ones who don't will buy it. No biggie.
