Last year, Filipino Fashion designer Boyet Fajardo met with representatives of the United Arab Emirates, the Netherlands and Switzerland.

Impressed by Fajardo's fashionable men's line, these foreigners want to bring the "Philippine's Best and the Most Creative Fashion line" to their countries. Talks are on-going between Boyet Fajardo and some of the best fashion houses in the Middle East and Europe to showcase the creme de la creme of Philippine fashion design.

Boyet Fajardo is a powerful creative force. He represents the best there is in the Philippine RTW business. Like the rest of us, Fajardo's climb to the top was not easy. Fajardo struggled for many years before reaching his premier status.

At 17, he opened his first fashion house in Quezon City. In the late 1980's, he went to Singapore and apprenticed with the top fashion designers there. Fajardo then went back in the Philippines, armed with the guts and the will to make it big in the fashion scene.

Filipinos know Fajardo for his high quality and World Class couture designs. Though he made a big splash in the Philippine couture scene, Fajardo decided to go the RTW route. He wanted to "bring fashion to the People." It's a big risk, but Fajardo relentless drive and steely will to survive the competitive RTW business made the journey easier.

He first made it big with his fashion line for plus size women. He then ventured into men's fashion, creating innovative and World-Class Quality shirts, suits, and blazers. Fajardo's philosophy is simple---create fashion for a reasonable price. His fabrics are top quality yet the price tags are easy on the budget.

Boyet Fajardo's creations can now be seen in shopping malls such as Robinsons and SM. Millions of Filipinos, especially those living abroad, wear his creations with nationalistic pride.

Therefore, we, citizens of the Philippines, ask each and every Filipino to support Boyet Fajardo's campaign to bring Filipino fashion abroad.

It is time for us to stand up and be proud of our compatriot, Boyet Fajardo.

We must not let negativity nor the selfish and envious designs of some to bring dishonor to our country's pride.
