I support this petition. As a professional dog trainer, I see the proposed
breed ban of "Pit Bulls" as not solving any biting problems. Any
breed can bite and do enough damage to kill. Putting bans on specific
breeds will not limit the number of serious or fatal dog attacks. Only
increasing the number of responsible owners, of ANY breed, will lessen the
incidence of dog bits. |

I fully support this petition. It is dog owners which should be held
accountable not the dog. Any breed of dog can have temperament problems due
to poor breeding,socialization and lack of proper care and training by a
responsible owner. However, it is just the attacks made by the "bully
breeds" and other exotics such as the Presa Canario and Cane Corso
that seem to make the news. |

trained i love pitbulls i have a 2 year old son and i had a pitbull i had
to get rid of her because my landlord would not let me keep her she was
wonderful with my son very good dog i would own 10 more and i think it is
stupid that insurace companies won't give you homeowener insurance
because you own a pitbull any dog can bite |
