They cancel a show. Never rerun it. No DVD. Not even VHS. What are we supposed to do but steal it? No remorse in this case, but if the DVD comes out I'll buy it.
If it isn't enough that fox and other networks make it a habit of frequently cancelling good shows after a season... they also make it impossible to get them after blundering all the potential. Look at Firefly and Family Guy -the dvds sold. Make the DVD, it's not that hard...
A great show. I was really upset when it was cancelled. With all the crap TV shows being released on DVD, I can't beleive a great show like Brimstone isn't already released.
A box set would be fantastic. Seems that intelligent writing and great cast are the kiss of death for any good series...examples are too numerous to mention.
I loved this show. I saw it on channel 4 in the UK when it was on. At 4am on a saturday!!! Well worth staying up for. I'd definately buy the dvd's and get all my friends addicted, so that they'd buy them too.
This show really was cancelled before it's time.
I would love to see a DVD boxset with all the episodes and some extras. Maybe commentary tracks from the show's creators, as well as some of the principal actors -- Peter Horton, John Glover, and Teri Polo (definitely on the two "Ashe-centric" episodes).
FOX has already done the right thing by agreeing to release Firefly and Profit, why not make it a trifecta?
I loved this show when it was on. I would love to have this available on DVD. It might even be like The Family Guy, and high sales might cause a new interest in the series and FOX would bring it back! That would be sweet!
Great show! Should have run much longer. Bring it out on DVD! "Wonderfalls," a fantastic show that ran for omly 4 episodes, also on FOX, was issued in its full 13 produced episodes on DVD because on online petitions, which I and thousands of others signed. I bought it.( Incredibly great show. Buy it!)Let's do the same for Brimstone.
Bring this show back is't not as "raw or controversial" as many on TV today. This show was great and also had a few good morals thrown in, what a concept!
This show has such a rare and unique view of the spiritual world, and an excellent sense of adventure. With only 13 episodes in it's entire run, it was DESTINED to a dvd box set. There's just no question.
