Only found Firefly this year after seeing Serenity. I have seen just about every sci-fi t.v. show since the mid sixties this is the best by just about forever. bring it back you muppits!
I recently watched the entire DVD set of this series. I have had very few TV series capture me the way this one has.
After seeing the interviews with the actors involved, I could imagine it wouldn't to difficult to bring this all back together.
There is no reason a great peice of entertainment like this should not continue.. it brings in revenue and gives the viewers what they want. This one would fit the bill quite well for HBO as they already carry a large sub base with their many other addictive series.
Please bring this show back on the air!
This series is original and timeless. I never get bored rewatching and I really, really hope that someday I'll be able to have more episodes to rewatch!
This is one of the most original and entertaining shows ever created! I have talked several people into giving this show a chance, and all of them have LOVED this series as much as I have. Hope we can bring it back!

This show is BETTER THAN Star Wars. It's like Star Wars for grown-ups. It deserves at least a 10 year run. Looking forward to it's resurrection...

Bring back Firefly, Pwease! It's an absolutely amazing series, and I can't fathom why someone would want to cancel it. I hope someone gives it a second chance. I didn't hear about it the first time it was aired, but after I watched Serenity I immediately bought the series. So, networks, please listen to our pleas and bring back Firefly!
I think it was highly unfair for people like me who never got a chance to see Firefly on network television due to their poor planning and advertising. I watched Serenity and then immediately went out and bought the tv shows and loved every single one of them!! This show must have been too intelligent for tv since it had too many twists nobody would have ever expected in the story line.
The cast and crew of Firefly are amazing and the show should be brought back in some avenue. It has actually grown in popularity since its cancellation. Bring Firefly back! Can't stop the signal!
There has never, ever been an equal to the cast and compilation of series or the movie Serenity, and it would be the ultimate thrill to have this back on the air, where it belongs. I generously, emphatically support this petition. Thank you.
This show is custom made for the SciFi Channel... which would be a relief from the C-rated series they've been putting out lately. Sci-Fi, if you want more viewers, get on the phone with Joss Whedon and PLEAD for him to continue the show with you! :-) Browncoats will rise again!
Each time I get my firefly dvd's back from lending them out, my friends ask me when they can see the next part. I'm tired of seeing their horrified expressions when I tell them there is no "next part".
Hey, HBO! Want a replacement for The Sopranos that's guaranteed to start with at least a million loyal/rabid viewers? Pick up Firefly. You won't be sorry you did, and the S2-S7 DVDs will fly off the shelves, too...
Give me more I can almost recite all of these episodes because I'm wearing out my DVD's turning all of my friends and family on to this great entertainment. It's so good I would like to see some entity rise to the challenge of continuing to write and produce this great storyline.
