This is undoubtably one of the best shows ever on television, and bringing it back would make whichever network picked it up a huge profit! Please bring Firefly back!!
I never watched the Firefly TV series when it was on TV. But after I saw the movie, I rented Firefly's 1st and only season. I can honestly say it's a shame! I immediately purchased the Firefly Complete Series on DVD after watching it. I would love nothing more than for some network to pick up the rights to Firefly and continue the TV Series. Or, at the very least, put out another movie. I love Firefly, don't let this extremely original series become a one hit wonder!!!
It would seem to be the entertainment industry no-brainer of the decade to pick up and *continue* the Firefly series - huge world-wide fanbase that spans generations, what more could one ask?
I know many of my friends watched this show , bought the dvd Collection and movie, you would recieve tons of ratings if you continued this show witht he actors in it.
I just started watching Firefly's first episode on the 24th of August and finished watching the series and the movie on the 27th and I have to say I'm not satiated. I was a huge Star Trek now I'm a huge Firefly fan and I desperately want more.
I think SciFi would be best. BSG was supposed to be on Fox and thank the Gods SciFi picked it up because it would have died on a regular network like fox. Let's face it, SciFi will run a series to death whether it is good or not, so I think that is where it should go.
