the best scifi series to emerge in a long time, I was so sad when I found out there were no more episodes to be made. The film made me happy again. A new series would just be amazing. I would watch every episode without fail and buy the boxset at the end.
Quality TV is few and Far between. Bring back that which gives so many enjoyment. And get rid of Reality shows as much money as they make its just sad to see so man of them.

I absolutely love firefly, and serenity, i am a 23 year old single male w/ a lot of disposable cash, and i normally don't watch tv, in fact i never heard of firefly till long after it was cancelled, but if it were on the air now i would watch it regularly.
We don't have cable in our house. We don't even have basic channels - all out TV watching is rented/borrowed/purchased dvds. We would get cable if Firefly came back. That's about the only thing I can imagine we'd find it worth shelling out for cable for.
I am one of the folk who had the box set loaned to me... I had to have my own set to keep in my own library. Saw the film multiple times and own the dvd as well. My investment in FF has been financial and emotional. There has been nothing on TV before or since that has in any way compared to Firefly.
This is my favorite show ever. No other has ever made me care so much about the characters or had a realistic world so alive and interesting. Firefly's quality makes other scifi laughable by comparison.
The show is... was really great. If they gave 'Firefly' its time, millions of people all over the world would be sitting at their TVs watching the best show ever. You know what show I mean. The ratings would be as high as the sky... do not lose this possibilty, dear producers or whoever! Think about it, please!
It's quick-witted, beautifully scripted and the acting is top-notch. It's foolishness, to yank a program which has left behind thousands and thousands clamoring for its return. They're doing the same to Rome on HBO---I can't be bothered w/ television if the only intelligent programs continue to be pulled to make way for such moronic TV as "Ugly Betty" Go ahead, dumb it down for the masses again.
I have LOVED Firefly since it was first shown on tv years ago and have been an avid supporter/fan of the series and the movie Serenity from the beginning. I would kill...er...love to have it brought back as a series on any chanel.
this show was briliant in so many ways and this petition sums up how many of the fans of the show feel about it. I like the person who created this post don't subscribe to any pay cable channels and i would gladly pay any amount to get a channel that would revive this show.
It was a realy good tv serie, the characters was complex and the ambientation and story rich and whit a great prospective to grow up to one of the best sci-fi series ever.
I watched the movie and I was interested. I watched the series and I fell in love. I showed my family. They watched every episode. Then we watched the movie. Now all of us want to give you our hard earned cash if you will only continue the story.
I'm not normally a man of many passions, but one of the few I have is Firefly. I almos tear up when I think there are no more episodes. It's like losing a member of your family. Harry
