I support this petition. There is no way that Fungus had such a "very loyal
but also a very limited audience" that it deserves to be replaced with 24hrs a day of AC/DC. If, as you claim, you have such "a limited space on your platform for music channels", then you cannot justify replacing a whole genre of music with a channel devoted only to playing the music of one band. Please rectify this as soon as possible so that I can keep my subscription.
Your substitution of Fungus for AC/DC has left XM with no coverage of genuine punk/ska music. The occasional track heard on Fred and Ethel hardly counts as coverage of this long established and still popular genre of music, which many modern artists cite as a heavy influence on their development as musicians. To replace such a wide ranging station with 24/7 coverage of a band whose popularity cannot possibly be greater than the entire punk genre, and who are featured regularly on several other stations, in inexplicable. For me personally, Fungus was the only station which made XM unique enough to warrant a subscription. I therefore add my voice to the others undersigned in petition to bring back Fungus.
I support this petition. Punk on Sirius was the channel I listened to 95% of the time. I don't like any other channels on there. This was the only channel I could find music I like, without it I'm stuck listening to my iPod. The one and only reason I subscribe to Sirius is the Punk channel
I support this petition.
I will also want to say that if Fungus is not put back on the air I will let my XM subscription go. I have had it for five year and only got it for Fungus. There are three subscribers in my family and I will tell them to get rid of their XM too. I also would say that if Fungus is not brought back, everyone who wants Fungus back should be wiling to get rid of their XM also.
Thank you for your time.

I support this petition. And how dare you let it go quietly with no warning? I am on the verge of cancelling my subscription if this sin't brought back.
Fungus was one of the better stations in the Rock section and I was pissed to no end when that stupid Metallica station stayed and AC/DC took Fungus off the air....kick Metallica and put AC/DC there! Its rediculous have all of these 24/7 single artist channels!!!!!!! I may or may not keep my subs...
I support this petition. I got a free year of sirius with my new car. The punk and Garage stations sold my on it when the free year runs out. Bring "Punk" back, between the two I could usually find something, but just one isn't cutting it. The other "aleternative" stations aren't really picking up the slack either (mostly crap there). May just go with my in-dash 6-disc mp3 player -- plenty of "clasic" punk fixins there.
I support this petition. I have been a member of XM for 5 years now and Fungus 53 was the reason for the radio in general. This station allowed me to venture into new music and allowed an ave. that is not reached in any market. The lack of such music speaks greatly about the teenie-boper society that has come to be. The actions taken by XM are just as bad as when MTV went to comericial during the Pink Floyd reunion a year or two ago.
Please bring back this programming.
Fungus is one of the main reasons I have XM. I listen to many different stations like Squizz, Lucy, Deep Tracks, and XM Comedy but I always come back to Fungus. Please bring it back.
I support this petition. Now that Sirius and XM have merged, it seems to me that Sirius XM
either doesn't care or want to know what its' subscribers think. I
thought the merger would be good for the company and allow subscribers
to have the best of both worlds, but I never imagined that it would be
at the expense of the subscriber's choice or taste in music. I do understand that bandwidth is at a premium, but Sirius XM could at
least wait for another micro-channel to expire. I think the most perturbing thing about the cancellation of Fungus is the lack of notice to subscribers.
I support this petition.
The only reason I purchased the XM service in the first place was for this station. I chose it over Sirius after listening to Sirius several times while renting cars for business trips. I called and was told I would be given a 60% discount because of this programming being cancelled. If I ever had to give a 60% refund to a customer I'd be fired.
I support this petition. WHOLEHEARTEDLY, Fungus is (was) the only station I listened to and if a punk station of equal or higher quality doesn't come back on XM I will be canceling my entire XM subscription indefinately.
WHAT WERE YOU THINKING
I certainly do d*mn well support this petition. Though a Sirius subscriber, I am both familiar and have long been envious of Fungus on my friend's XM subscription. When I learned of the merger I was hopeful that they would keep the babies and lose the bathwater. So much for the promise of satellite radio. Let's hope the election goes better than this did...
