I support this petition. It is ridiculous to replace a channel with a 24/7 single band channel that is unrelated in any way to the original station. While I want Fungus back, I would lend support to any similar punk format. Fill the void.
As soon as Fungus was stopped, I cancelled my subscription. I in turn purchased an iPod Classic 160Gb and loaded it up with the same music.
My consumer trust has been broken by XM and Sirius (my wife has it) and will not use the service again unless Fungus is reinstated.
This is more reason to take control of your own music. The alure of a different type of radio station is gone.......
We won't forget what was on and what was promised when we bought our lifetime subscriptions. First, you take a station that never played AC/DC and give them the punk station, and then a couple of months later when you think we forgot that this was part of our service, you remove the station entirely.
I hope you genius programmers have your bonus in stock options.
I support this petition. The stations you suggest I listen to actually suck ass. You have a couple of months to return them, or add some not so shitty stations or you'll lose both of my tuners. Choose wisely.
I support this petition. Witht he merger of XM and Sirius there is no reson not to have at least one full time punk station like there was. I am a Sirius fan but it dosen't matter which punk station you have as long as Fungus or Sirius punk is returned.
I support this petition. Bring back the Punk channel and lose some of the redundant stations like hip hop or classic rock or one of the 11+ news stations. Listen to your customers for once, they always right, remember??!!
Both XM and Sirius are on notice for pulling the punk stations off of the air. If there were another service available with a punk station, I would immediatley cancel my contract with Sirius. The stations have far too many POP channels, channels dedicated to a single musician and yet the punk stations are the ones that are taken away? Yet another example of people who are overcompensated making poor decisions that will run their companies into the ground.
Had my father not paid for my years renewal as an xmas gift I'd of cancelled my XM Radio without hesitation. I only listen to Fungus & BPM depending on my moods. If Fungus doesn't come back I'll have my father cancel the subscription in the new year.
Nice to see large corporations decide what people want vrs the actual consumer paying for the product.
I support this petition. Its the reason I have 3 subscriptions. Ill definately cancel if it is not back. HOw many jazz or rock stations do we need, give us ONE punk channel!!!
