I support this petition. The only reason I subscribed to XM in my new car after the demo was for the Punk stations... now I might as well have a vacuum tube tape player... at least it would sound scratchy and PUNK like I remember it as a youth.
I support this petition. I need Sirius Punk back on my radio. Temporarily off-lining it was not acceptable to begin with, and permanent removal will insure that I never add any more receivers to my account. I listened to the punk channel every day. It was a station guaranteed to be playing something good at almost any time. By eliminating my two "safe" stations: Punk & Backspin, you have actually made me wish that I didn't have a lifetime subscription, so I could cancel my service.
When I complained about the loss of the best station on Sirius, I was told I would have to suffer until January to get Punk back on my radio. I guess the joke's on me. Faction is not punk. It's not even close. Just like putting an "old skool" show on Hip-Hop Nation can't fill the void left by eliminating 24/7 good old rap, putting a punk show on Faction or playing a punk song on it once in a while won't fill the programming void you created in the other 167 hours a week. I don't care if you call it Punk or Fungus, but you need to listen to your subscribers' interests. If think your subscribers need 8 classic and hard rock stations and no punk, then you aren't doing your job well enough.

I support this petition. Most of us that subscribed to satellite radio did so because we wanted to hear music that we couldn't hear on regular radio. That is also the bill of goods we were sold when the advertising was run back then. Now they changed everything with this merger. Now we get to hear the same music we hear on regular radio but with nifty station titles. Why am I paying for this again? BRING BACK FUNGUS!! One of the main reasons that I subscribed in the first place!!
I support this petition. I will be canceled til there is punk, take that sirius. You look at low stats on listeners and think punk is expendible. But you don't realize that most those subscribers only want punk.
At this point they have eliminated, in order, half of the presets on my XM radio, begining with Fungus. Excepting the talk stations, the rest have had their programing altered to the point where they are nearly unreccognisable. Are commercials next? Or just more channels dedicated to awful washed out rock bands that only dipshits listen to? What am I paying for again?
I support this petition. The new channel line up is very dissapointing. Fungus was the main station I listened to. I will be cancelling my subscription soon if the line up does not improve. The loss of orginal stations like Fungus does not make a subscription to XM worth the monthly fee. Especially since I am lucky enough to stream punk stations from a iPhone now.

Seems XM dropped alot of their original programming today and I heard on O and A today that "the boneyard" will return in 8 weeks on channel 53. So whats going on? has this petition been forwarded to Jon Zellner yet?
I support this petition. It makes no sense to get rid of unique channels such as fungus 53 and sirius 29 when there are numerous others which play the same music over and over again. I dont know how many times i've flipped through the stations and the same song was playing on 2 different channels, thats no different than fm radio.
To HELL with Howard Stern and all of the Sirius lame excuses for what were great XM stations. Bring them all back... Fungus, Fred, Ethel, Lucy, Squizz, The System, The Move, XM Chill, the original programming on Liquid Metal... ALL OF IT. I have NO desire to pay for listening to commercialized short playlists and shallow radio hit driven top 40 lists. You've lost a subscriber until you return what we all paid for in the first place... REAL MUSIC.

Fungus 53 was the primary reason for my XM subscription. If the channel is not included in the combined Sirius/XM lineup, I will be cancelling my subsription when it comes for renewal in June 2009.

I want Fungus back. You new Sirus replace channel (52) is a complete waste if time. You play on Punk song and then on crappy rap song.
I support this petition. It was a mistake to ditch the Punk station, and an even bigger one to direct listeners to Faction. Bring Punk back! It was one of your most unique stations, and unique is what Sirius listeners pay for.
