xm has gone to hell what with first giving metallica their own station and then ac/dc (the album actually sucks). how many times can we really listen to the jack and jailbreak..it was kind of nice to hear them once in a while but 3 times in 2 hours is over the top. let ac/dc go back to the classic rock stations and return us our punk..hell even oprah has 2 friggin channels..unbelievable
This cost me a subscription to your service! I was seriously considering it until I heard you had dropped punk from your programming! Please bring it back if you ever want any of MY money!
Fungus was the sole reason for my subscription. If it is not reinstated, or replaced with a comparable station, I will cancel my subscription. The alternatives suggested are laughable and insulting: they do not play punk, oi, or ska. If I wanted to only hear one or two pop punk songs every four hours, I would listen to my local alternative station. Come on, how many country, news, and sports channels do you really need?
Fungus, the 40's channel, opera and bluegrass were the elements of satellite radio which made it worth subscribing to. It isn't that I listened to those stations the most, instead I listed to ABC radio, and when that was removed, Patriot. However, I can get talk radio anywhere. Having the option of listening to my favorite music, I can't. Please don't measure the success of a station merely by the listening time it receives. Fungus and its sister station on Sirius were unique and are assets to XMSirius.
I'll be cancelling both my radios in January if Fungus is not back on the air. 10 different Country stations & enough "adult contemporary" to put Lawrence Welk into a coma- and they can't give us ONE....just ONE PUNK STATION?? That 80 GB Ipod is looking more & more like a good investment.
My choosing XM Radio was largely based around their providing of these two punk stations. If they don't return, I'll be canceling my subscription. Simple.

Bring back sirius punk or replace it with fungus. If it doesn't come back, I am cancelling my service and demanding reimbursment for every month the punk channel was missing. It's the only channel I listened too, and the only reason I was willing to pay for sirius. You made a lousy choice and will loose many devoted customers.
Stop dicking around with the channel lineup you jerks. Every channel I listened to is now completely gone or re-themed as another 90s music mishmash. I can hear that crap on terrestrial radio.

I did not renew my subscription to XM radio due to the removal of Fungus 53. I will however continue to check back to see if the programing has been reinstated and would reup if it is.

I want Punk 29 back as well as Backspin 43. I'm gonna drop my 3 sub's and invest in MP3 car stereos with a USB connection, and iPod control.
I support this petition. You cant get rid of a well liked channel and tell us that you can hear the "the same great punk" on a couple others ,which consists of 2 of the most popular songs of some pop punk band. BRING IT BACK!
I wholeheartedly support this petition. Fungus was the best station on XM, and to replace it with AC/DC is a slap in the face to loyal listeners. Clearly, this measure was taken to help promote AC/DC's new album, but surely there must have been other stations on XM that could be used for that purpose, the one of the many hip-hop, alternative or country stations. Other genres have several different stations dedicated to them, but punk only had Fungus. What a ripoff. PUT FUNGUS BACK ON THE AIR!!!
I support this petition. Fungus 53 was a reason to be willing to pay for radio. There is a not so subtle irony in the fact that, despite the attitude displayed by Fungus in its on-air promotions, it was just marketing crap.
I support this petition. It is especially problematic to lose the exclusive punk channels, because there is ironically no real terrestrial equivalent to them that can be heard for free.
