I support this petition. Fungus 53 was the main reason I subscribed to XM. I was just about to buy a second radio too- I'm glad I didn't, because I'm considering cancelling my subscription now that Fungus is gone. XM is becoming more and more like regular radio.
Fred and Ethel dont provide any music I cant get on basic radio. Don't the aging rockers get enough AC/DC on all the classic rock and "top" channels? Meanwhile listeners like myself now have no decent source for non-hyper-mainstream punk, and the occasional and much appreciated ska song. Do you really think a fanbase that you've acknowledged as dedicated will stand for Fungus being replaced by a gimmicky, annoying and unneeded channel?

Fungus 53 was pretty much the first station I'd tune in when I hopped in the family car. It's a shame not to have that option.
The music on Fungus was in NO WAY the same stuff heard on 44 or 47. In fact, between 44, 47, and 54, you've got three stations basically playing the same variety of music. And occasionally you'd hear a Clash song on one of them that you might also hear on Fungus; in my experience, that's about the extent of the overlap. Bring Fungus 53 back.
Please bring back Fungus! If I wanted to hear all Led Zeppelin, Metallica, and AC/DC I'd just turn on FM radio. I pay for XM so that I can hear music I can't hear anywhere else.
Its exaclty music like this that satellite radio should be playing and marketing; the stuff that's not on FM, but still has a big following. Bring it back!
I support this petition. Also I went to cancel my XM today because all I have it for is Fungus upon where xm offered me 3 free months to stay with them and see what happens. I agreed but if Fungus does not return I will definitely be canceling my subscription.

band station like AC/DC. Fungus touched on ska, oi, hardcore, punk and these arent represented anywhere on sirius or XM. This was never FM friendly music. Bring back this outlet for this type of music now!
I listen to 29Punk 99% of the time, please please bring it back. Why would to take away this great genre/era in music and replace it with one band? I definitely won't keep both my radios if Punk doesn't return soon.
