Well its the 2nd episode and Tom still hasnt won me over. you cant change someone, even if you try hard enough, tom has not got the it !!! Bring back Grant anyday !!!!
Tom sounds like a total dumbarse on this show. The only programs he should be allowed to host are surfing shows or something on access 31. Bring back Grant!

i have nothing against Tom as a person or a host, love him on the great outdoors, but for a show like the mole i would of loved grant to have hosted it forever, his part of the reason why people love the mole, his got the right attitude, and last i love his voice as the voice over , gets you into the show and the assignments..
I was sooo excited when i heard that the mole was coming back to our screens.. what i could not believe was that grant was not hosting this time round.. his presence really did make the show what it is but this new series with its new host just.. well if it aint broke!!
grant made sure the contestants knew who the boss was. ie, him. tom just acts like their best friends. its totally not right. grant had the air of one who was in control - IN POWER! he instilled a sense of fear.. with Grant, it wasn't just a game, it was The Mole.
Wow! Who would have thought when i started this 3 weeks ago it would actually get over 250 signatures!! I thought 1,000 would be optimistic but 2 episodes in and we're already a quarter fo the way there!
Tom Williams should stick to building things and maybe even dancing - not taking Grant Bowlers place on The Mole and making a holy show of it too!!! BRING GRANT BACK

Even though I doubt they'll change hosts mid-season, Grant is a much better host than Tom. It's quite sad that I need to get drunk to enjoy The Mole now. The live eliminations bite too.
If there's a mole on this show at all it has GOT to be Tom Williams - if anyone can sabotage the series and lose money, it'll be this twit! The man can't even speak and has about as much charisma as a house-brick.

Oh my goodness, what a shit job tom did. I hope that sooner rather than later they get back Grant. At least he could hold a poker face and did not fluff up his words. There was suspense when he was doing elimination. Tom Stick to presenting you are not ready to fill grants astonishingly large shoes
Grant was mysterious and suited suspenseful nature of the show. Tom sounds like he is hosting wheel of fortune and he can't read the teleprompter for god's sake. BRING BACK GRANT PLEASE!!!!
Tom Williams is no good for this show. He is just a pretty face and doesn't have much substance. Since he has become channel 7's wonderboy - they have slapped him on everything. Enuf already, put him back on the great outdoors, bring back Grant to the mole - so it will be a decent series once more. Tom Williams looks like he is reading off a card the whole time and still stuffs up the lines! It is supposed to be a serious show - so what is with the constant smirk on his face? Bring back Grant!
Definetly - Grant was sooooo much better. An unassuming, but serious quality. Not some chippy who looks like he is about to wolfwhistle the lady contestants.
Thank goodness someone set up this petition. I was very frustrated with the change to Tom Williams. Grant has been a truly excellent host on past seasons so why did he lose this job! Tom is nice looking but I don't watch The Mole to see handsome men. It is supposed to be suspenseful, intriguing and smart - and Grant brings ALL that to the table! BRING BACK GRANT!!!

Tom Williams is such an uncreative (if there is such a word) host - the show has became far too broad.
To summarise, Grant was FAR better. He was original, intelligent and could remember his lines and had good charisma

I watched this show last Saturday, and boy did I have a winge about Tom.. The live stuff ups, and the whole too americanised for me..

Tom tries to be mates with the competitors. Grant got it right by staying distant & aloof.Get rid of the live format so Tom can re-do his lines if he stumbles. Last chance tonight Channel 7.
The problem with The Mole is not just the ordinary new host - it is the whole concept. Who wants to watch Big Brother meets The Mole? Live Evictions? BRING ME A BUCKET! It used to be an intelligent, well planned show.... now it's just crap.
Thank goodness someone started this petition. I said it as soon as I started watching the show last week. I don't even know if I can be bothered watching tonight, whereas with previous series I have waited all week for the next episode.
Look, everyone knows Tom looks good. But it ends there.
I loved this show, but the slow pace of the live potion overshaddowed the high budget competition segments. Tom added to the frustration stuffing up his lines repeatedly and changing tone from serious to joking (bad, bad jokes I might add) without even thinking. it ruined the whole feeling of the show.
Bring back Grant, There's a reason why this show was originally so popular.
And Channel 7, your comment in the press today (Sep1) about Tom doing something right with 1.3million people tuning in is ridiculous. With the money you poured into the show and advertising, I think we all know you were hoping for more than 1.3mil viewers. We'll see how the second episode airs tonight.

Toms voive is just to Aussie and slang, definatley not a presenters voice for a show like this. Toms sounds like he should be commentating a surf carnival or a rodeo, not the mole. Grant had it all, He was a man of mystery, and that made the show, Grants the complete package for the mole, not tommy boy, and even if tom started to change his ways and be more Grant like, It still wouldnt be the same, So pick up that phone channel 7, and ring up Mr Bowler, and sign him up at any cost. THE SOONER THE BETTER. : )
Please bring Grant back channel 7! He's the one for the job, much better than Tom. Grant seems to have the technique down so please listen to the Mole fans.
This was my favourite show and I was so excited when I saw the ads and it was comign back. But I couldn't even bare to watch the whole show with that dill hosting it. Bring back Grant - he makes the Mole what is should be. I refuse to watch another episode!
Tom is clearly not a good performer in this new live format. It took Grant a little while to settle in but by the end of the last series he was performing much better than Tom is at the moment.
Channel 7 shouldn't assume that its ratings for the program are because of Tom. They have spent much more time and money promoting this series than any other Mole series. Perhaps the ratings are despite rather than because of Tom.
