This is a petition to ask Universal Studios to re-release "Jaws" in theaters for 2005 to celebrate the film's 30th aniversary.

"Jaws" was the first summer hit movie, paving the way for future hits like Star Wars and Spiderman. It also scared the public to go swimming in the water back in 1975, and even today! It would be an honor to celebrate a classic like "Jaws" by seeing it on the big screen!

It would be a huge hit to get a free give-a-way or t-shirts if you go to see it again in the movies or even for the first time cause this is an experience.

I was 5 years old when JAWS was first released. I still remember the fear I had "going into the water" when my dad would take me to the beach. I remember being on my dad's shoulder and pulling him by the ears so he would stop walking towards the water! I remember it like it was yesterday! I would love to see my favorite movie of all time on the big screen with my dad for one last time. That would be a memory that I would carry with me for the rest of my life. PLEASE UNIVERSAL, RE-RELEASE THIS TIMELESS MOVIE SO MYSELF AND FUTURE GENERATIONS CAN ENJOY THIS MOVIE ONCE AGAIN!!!! I want to see, "the head, the tail...the whole damn thing!!"

I luv jaws and i luv 2 scare myself but after i see it i'll probably be scared of the ocean FOREVER!It would be kool in 3-D,huh?

I have in fact never seen it, but it would be a good idea! The classic score by John Williams would keep everyone cheering! 2001: A Space Odyssey should be re-released - does anyone agree?

This movie is an alltime classic and everyone will see it again and for the future generations who weren't lucky enough to see it in the theater. bring back this timeless classic.

There should definately be a re-release. I know many people that would go see it more than once. Also, Universal should take better care of the Jaws franchise. The movie is still very popular and relevant. Make a hi-quality sequel that'll make us forget Jaws 3 and 4!!! I know tons of people that want to see this happen!!! Wake up, Universal!!! PS: Roy Scheider should to be cast in more films!!!

Let's go Universal...this is one of the tent poles of your studio. Two discs for How the Grinch Stole Christmas, yet Jaws 25th gets a Cliff Notes version of the laserdisc? This is one of the most beloved films of all time and deserves some respect.

this film deserves to be showen in the theaters again and also a special 2 disc collectors edtion with commentary. more info than the 25th version. jaws is simply the best movie of all time in my heart. and i would ask universal to make the fans all over the world on the film very happy to.this movie will continue to make entire generations afraid of the ocean.so i would like to say universal give this movie what it deserves special special in depth treatment for us the fans. regards and signed john magennis belfast northern ireland.

Come on Universal!! Do the white thing! Put Jaws back where it belongs, in a theatre. Give it the respect it deserves. Let a whole new generation find out why people still give a damn about this film 30 years later.

It's LONG overdue..."Jaws" is the greatest movie ever made and deserves the big screen treatment every bit as much (if not more) than "Star Wars". It needs to be introduced to a whole new generation! Long live Bruce...
