Nick used to own back in the days before cartoon network now they are lagging because of this wanna be "Hip" garbage make a channel for the classics and i bet the ratings for that will SOAR

OH MY FREAKING GOSH!!!!!! i love the old school nick stuff. the new nick is uder lame, and they have nothing good... i have been searching for dvds even of the shows... i actually sent nickelodeon a letter asking them about the old shows, and requesting an old school day or week or something... they didnt repond.. curse them.
This petition is AWESOME!! We love the old nickelodeon shows. We were just having a conversation about them and we wanted to look some of the old shows up and we ended up finding this website. The new shows are CRAP!! Kids nowa days are missing out on what we had. What happened to kool cat, mr. fix it, gullah gullah island, little bear and franklin? Where did they all go??Bring them back!!

I'm glad to see that there are others like me out there. I just bought the first season of Pete & Pete on DVD yesterday and realized how much I miss the old nick. Nick has begun to ruin my life. The faint memories of Kenan and Kel are now eclipsed by Drake and Josh. If nick were a pair of underpants, then Zoey 101 and As Told By Ginger are sure to be the skid mark. Give me Double Dare and Legends of the Hidden Temple back. Give me my childhood back and quit putting it on channels that I don't have. All I have is first season of Pete and Pete to remind me my childhood did not die in vain.

that would be so flippin awesome if all the classic original nickelodeon shows would come back to life, have their own tv channel, and rule the universe...i really really miss the original shows of All That and Kenan and Kel and every show that came before jimmy neutron..if television brought back beverly hills 90210..then..sure ass hell they can bring back the shows WE want to watch..

A new channel for old Nick shows is the best idea ever. If they can't do that, they should at least put the shows out on DVD so all of us can watch our favorite series again. I would love to see Hey Arnold and Are You Afraid of the Dark again.
If I had the money I'd buy the rights to all of the old shows..because there's generations of new kids that would get hooked on the old-school just like we grew up with.

Cartoons today are definitely going down hill. I'll be watching Nickelodeon with my younger cousins and I was amazed at the stories and the gross adult humor thrown in. My 7 year old cousin knows more about sex, drugs, and talking back to your parents more than I do now and I'm 18! When I was growing up, the shows were corny and wholesome and always taught a good lesson. We definitely need to bring them back. They were GREAT!

This just proves that we are the truly forgotten Generation. They're currently showing REALLY Classic Shows on Nick at Nite, and knowing how we've been treated by society, twenty yrs. from now, the corporate suits @ Nick would probably make a classic network full of crap shows they show on Nick today (esp. Spongebob) before launching a network dedicated to Good Programming such as those all of you have listed.
