Please bring back old school Nick. The programs from then bring joy to me. The little kiddies are missing out on good things. I can assure to those who it matters, that if old school Nick is at least brought back to new channel on cable, there would be ample eyes watching.

Courtney, it was called Nick Arcade. Its like this channel has something that disconnected and can't be reconnected. That plug is the oldies and the old format. Now Nick has all these polls as their "we'll be right back" message. Plus this channel also has shows for 10-11 year old wannabes. No offense, I'm not trying to be mean . . .

Nick shows used to have depth, not patronize children and stupify the young minds of America. I think the television shows of old Nick should be brought back - shows that everyone enjoys watching. The shows on now are mini melo dramas, soap operas in training that defile any honest view of children's tv. Cartoons are petty, and not funny, and the actual shows bring real life scenario with no real life basis. It is a waste of time to air shows that rot out and seduce the young minds of america into believing foolish lies that smash against the truth of reality. basically - the new shows suck, and bringing back old shows would please the teenagers who grew up with them and positively influence the younger generations.
Nickelodeon has turned to crap. It NEEDS to bring back old shows such as Salute your shorts, Wild and Crazy Kids, Double Dare, all of them! It's very necessary, Nickelodeon sucks now.

yes i agree with lauren...the new shows are pointless and totally commercially-driven. I remember that the only Nickelodeonabilia available was Gak. The first real TV-show toy I ever bought was an Aah! Real Monsters toy. These shows are all classics, that live on till this day, whereas such modern-day shows as "Fairly Oddparents" and "Zoe 101" will be forgotten 10 minutes after the series end. These shows will live in infamy, and i think, as most of you do, that they should have their own station dedicated to non-stop old-school Nick. Snick and Nick Jr. included. They should also run the old Stick Stickly summer specials. Speaking of which, does anyone know the full S.S. song? I know its "write to me, stick stickly lalala new york city, new york state, 10108" but that's all i got.

yes, the new shows are for the mindless youth of the future. the old shows were well written and actually had a believeable plot and could be realted to everyday life. they are classics and should be honered with their own station. the new shows have no story line and are only there to fill the time slots between material wealth comericials.

Where did have all the good shows gone? Now Nickelodeon is filled with crap like Sponge Bob Square pants and loser shows like that. Where's the game shows? "What Would You Do?", "Wild and Crazy Kids". And the good shows like "Are You Afraid of the Dark", "Clarissa Explains it All", "Hey Dude". At least put them on after the "prime time" shows have aired so that those of us who don't like that crap that's playing now can watch the good stuff.

I AGREE!! My parents were not the BEST of parents... so I grew UP on Nick... literaly!! If Nick were just to have ONE DAY of old Nick... I'd skip school and everything to watch it. I REALLY miss the classic nick shows. I would love to watch those shows again. It was a good thing that I was born at a time where I got to watch it. Today's kids don't know what they are missing.
