I loved most of the old Nick shows....it would be nice to see them on agian, course they wont have the same people but we'd like the old story lines to come back and now with todays technology the show can be better put together...DO IT! PLEASE!!

This just only proves that the world is going to hell in a handbasket! The only way I can see these shows returning on the air is when Jesus comes back to reign on the Earth.
Nick gas has been created for shows such as Double Dare, Legends of the Hidden Temple, Guts, and many others...I don't see why they can't make a tv channel for the shows that really were good like The Secret Life of Alex Mac, Cat Dog, Salute Your Shorts, Rocko's Modern Life, Hey Dude, and the many others there were...So yeah everyone should sign this petition...it's for a good cause.

I haven't heard anyone mention You Can't Do that on Television,Pinwheel, or that other one about the manequin that came to life at night and froze when his hat fell off (I can't remember the name). I love all the shows listed previously also but we can't forget about these. Everyone has the right to remember the nostalgic happy times from when they were young. Seeing these shows again would bring back so many memories.
I would definitely be interested in DVDs of Roundhouse (my fave!), Welcome Freshmen, Are You Afraid of the Dark, You Can't Do That on Television, Hey Dude, Salute Your Shorts, Clarissa, etc.
I have never heard of any of these new shows on Nick now-I was really upset that they no longer show the classics. Double Dare, Secret World of Alex Mack, EARLY All That, Kenan & Kel, OLD Rugrats, Rocko's Modern Life, Angry Beavers, Doug, The original SNICK, (Global) GUTS, Shelby Woo, Figure it out, Are You Afraid of the Dark, Clarissa Explains it All, Salute your shorts, Kaitlyn's Way, Pete and Pete, David the Gnome, Hey Dude, Wild and Crazy Kids, Legends of the Hidden temple, and even Ren and Stimpy. I remember when I was little I would plant myself in front of my parents TV in their room and stayed there for hours watching all of my favorite TV shows. All of these much newer shows have no real purpose, rhyme or reason. Bring back the classics-trust me they are much better!!
It seems as though the only show in nick that's still on from the old days is "nick news".
I never watched that show! where are the ones that we all grew up w/? there should be a channel on Basic cable, like the kind of cable that shows the new nick, but call it "old school nickelodeon" just because we all grew up doesnt mean the tv companies can erase our memories! at least our shows had points to them unlike spongebob squarepants....God that sponge annoys the hell outa me.I want the shows back!
You cant do that on television, Turkey TV, Fifteen, and Especially the Roundhouse. They have boomerang that plays old school cartoons , i am sure NICKELODEON can have a NICK ALL CLASSIC station. oh yeah and clarissa explains it all....OLD NICK ROCKS
Yeah, Nickelodeon is copying Disney in making shows for the slow-witted pre-teens among us. It's only a matter of time before the whole channel blows. Bring back Saluate your Shorts!!!!!

You should really bring back the old shows or make a channel just from the old school shows, cuz the shows on nick now are sort of crap and most of the actors cant really act

I defiantly agree, it sounds silly but these shows are our childhood, and if they are not willing to play them on Nick anymore, then they need to create a separate channel for all of the old shows. But come on...how many people really watch all the CRAP that's on Nick now ??! My favorite thing to watch when I was little was Nick @ Night. Even though I can still catch some of those shows on TVLand, I miss the old line up. Its just not the same. The kids now that are young are getting cheated out of good tv, and good movies.
I can say the same for the Disney channel, thats all I used to watch when I was little.

remember the old nick cartoons...like "the noozles" "david the gnome" and "little bits." bring thos back too!! these cartoons were just as perfect as "Salute your Shorts" and "Hey Dude."
i grew up on classic nickelodeon 2. 18 now and would seriously watch nickelodeon if they put "are you afraid of the dark" back on, along with "pete and pete", "clarissa" . . "salute your shorts". . . there were just so many good shows and now they are really not good, not 2 say boring at the least. 4 god's sake nickelodeon just bring them back!!! we have to get our voice heard!
I grew up on old nickelodeon. the new stuff lacks the social and emotional wepth that some of the old shows were full of.
I miss waiting for Snick on sturday nights so that I could enjoy "are you afraid of the dark" and "all that" and if anyone else remembers- "roundhouse"

Nick shows today are so awful!! I'm 21 and grew up with the oldies Pete & Pete, What would you do?, Salute your shorts, legends of the hidden temple, welcome freshman, land of the lost, hey dude, ren and stimpy...and all the other goodies....Bring them back and watch how high the ratings go..!! It wouldn't only be satisfying viewers but the network as a whole!

I was obsessed with nickelodeon when i was a kid. If nick wont play the old shows, then they should creat a nick classic channel where i can watch are you afraid of the dark, Salut yor shorts, and the old all that when it was actually good.
Yeah, Full House is being replayed constantly (which is great), so why can't the old nicktoons be replayed...DOUG, Hey Dude, Salute Your Shorts, Ren and Stimpy, Clarissa Explains it All....the list goes on!
The old shows were the bomb! They need to come back. The only good show on Nickelodeon right now is Spongebob! Especially my brother and me! We don't care if they are re-runs, just air them!!
the old shows are so much funnier. the new shows aren't nearly as entertaining as My Brother and Me, Kenan and Kel, All That (old cast)and Pete and Pete. Please bring them back and I'm sure you won't regret it. You will have so many more viewers. Take my advice!

I could not agree more with this petition. I need to see "Dude Ranch" and "Eat Your Shorts" very soon, or I feel I will die. I don't just like these shows because i grew up with them, but because they were actualy funny. These were good shows, aimed at kids. The shows today are so bad, it's not even ironicaly funny to watch them. That show about those two brothers, or that one about the hispanic family. SOOOOOO BAD!! Give me "Pete and Pete" and "Are you Afraid of the Dark!"
