It saddens me that, it is obvious who the drug smugglers are, and it isnt Schapelle. Help thy neighbour and get nothing in return. BOYCOTT INDONESIA before someone else frames you too on your dream vacation. Obviously its time for a Forensic-Aid benefit to give Indonesia a better legal system.

All I have to say, is this: if I look at how the whole procedure went on and what kind off evidence is used, and not is obtained, by and through the Bali justice system, the whole proces is not fair.
In my opinion its all about the honour of the Bali system and maybe the proud of some weird procecutor.
The only thing they ask for is to prove Schapelle's innocense, but they cannot (or refuse to) prove her guiltyness.
I believe Schapelle is NOT guilty.
And how I love Australia, I recon the government is able to put more help than they do.

FREE SCHAPELLE! My thoughts are with her. She's sleeping in a jail cell that is pretty much HELL while we're sleeping in our beds safely at home. This is a reminder of how freedom is taken for granted. I will do my best to spread the word about this horrible situation.

The ignorance of the Indonesian legal system compared to that of the Australian one is shocking. My heart goes out to Shapelle for being the victim of such a shoddy system. As I read in the SMH, part of the reason why the judge did not give her the death penalty was because "she was polite during the trial". Any legal system that uses politeness instead of law to determine criminal charges is so obviously flawed. Please help her.

After travelling to Bali 8 times as a tourist the Indonesians have now lost my tourism. I believe we should call on all Australians to boycott all tourism travel to Indonesia. Australia has been amazingly generous to Indonesia especially with our support after the Tsunami. This girl is obviously intelligent and anyone who has ever been to Bali knows that this case simply does not make any sense. Bring Schapell home now!

Despite our government's kow-towing to Indonesia and its knee-jerk generosity after the Tsunami (whose non-Muslim victims will probably see little of it) Schapelle Corby is being held because she is a caucasian, western WOMAN from a nominally Xtian country that has allied itself with the USA. The Indonesians have no interest in justice for her: they hate us for all of the above reasons, especially after we assisted the East Timorese. She's stuck like a beautiful hummingbird in the web of a foul bird-eating spider. In a supreme act of bastardry, Mick Keelty's AFP went on to shop nine more citizens, unnecessarily, to these animals. With 'friends' like these, who needs enemies?
I have been to Bali 9 times and have found it very corrupt and do not believe that schapelle is guilty
the evidence was not fingerprinted before being handled by many Balineese. Many of my friends go to bali and may never feel like going again. After we gave Bali nhelp after the Bali bombings, they owe us. Maybe in future we shold jail all the Indonesian refugees that come here. Never to go back to Indonesia. Thankyou
This is outrageous! Of course I can't be 100 percent sure that Schappelle is innocent..nobody can. But, all the evidence STRONGLY suggests the poor girl is COMPLETELY innocent. The trauma it's caused her (and her family)and the ongoing effects of this will be with her now for the rest of her life. Hasn't she suffered enough?? Her situation I believe should not be likened, or tainted, by the recent 9 people arrested on heroin trafficking. A TOTALLY different scenario.PLEASE do ALL you can to help this girl and bring her home where she belongs. AND THE VERY NEXT THING THAT SHOULD BE DONE (I would hope it is now) IS A SEVERE TIGHTENING UP OF OUR AIRPORT SECURITY IN AUSTRALIA. I feel extremely reluctant to visit Bali now myself, and up to this case, has been intending to do so in the near future. I am now quite sure I won't be going there in the forseeable future, if at all, ever.
I cant believe what is happening to her. There was no attempt to prove she was innocent they are just out to make an example. I will never be going to Bali if she is convicted.
We have to remember that this started with criminals in our own country so boycotting Bali seems a bit extreme. It is obvious she is innocent but it is not our legal system- Australia trying to 'over-rule'or refute another country's legal proceedings can be likened to the United States and their bullying foreign manouvers.Wrong place, wrong time- poor girl.
None of us have any simple answers. We can only hope justice prevails and if it does Schappelle will be financially set for quite a while- ACA, Sixty Minutes, New Idea, Woman's Day, the Age, Time etc. You get the picture- Minimal consolation for a shattered life I know.

I am an American and I feel for you Aussies.. I will never visit Indonesia unless they change their way of justice. She is innocent UNTIL proven guilty NOT guilty untill proven innocent! May she be free soon some way..
The french have a systme where nationals are transferred home and thier sentences amended to meet local french laws. I believe that this is the ONLY way to treat your citizens. She has already served over 6 months - bring her home and let her go!!

I am appalled by the lack of support and intervention from the Howard Government.
I read in the paper this morning that Australians are still visiting Bali in record numbers - however they are concerned about their luggage and parents complain they no longer feel safe leaving their children with babysitters due to the recent pedophile allegations.
People - Bali is not the only holiday destination in the world - go elsewhere, or stay at home. Surely, you are not that desperate for a holiday!

I very muchly beleive that Schapelle is innocent, this case is a farce and I put the question foward.. Who on earth would bring marijuana into a country that is riddled with it? Bali should be focusing on its own corruption and problems, and let this innocent girl go home to her loving family.
I am utterly appualed at the way the Australian Government have handled this case. You only have to look into Schappele eyes to know she did not committ this crime. You only have to look at her reaction when the prosecctutors handed doen their possible sentence. her reaction was so raw that if she was guilty - there is no way on earth she would of reacted the way Schapelle did. I have never been so moved before in my entire life and i just want to reach inside that bali cell and take her home. I support Schapelle Corby petition.
