think of the Bali people - it is the judges & the system which has convicted Schapelle - NOT the total Balinese people. There are other Australians there on drug charges too - it's a horrible situation but you can't boycott an entire country because of a few - do Balinese people think ALL Australians are drug traffickers???

It is a sad day! Bali should hang their head in shame as it is evident that Schapelle is not to blame. Our Government did not and is not doing enough, the Federal Police did nothing! I would like to see what would have happened if she was related to one of the pollies!!!

The whole thing to do with Schapelle is absolutley disgusting. How can this AUSTRALIAN girl be left to serve a sentance for something that NO ONE can prove she did. How can OUR government just stand by and watch this happen. Would she be there if her name was Whitlam, Howard, Keating, or any other politician, don't our taxes pay for them to protect us from harm, or injustice. If so then DO SOMETHING Schapelle is not just one person she is all of us.

I can't believe that poor schapelle gets 20 years when there is so much reasonable doubt but a terrorist like abu bakir bashir (or however it is spelt) only gets a few years for killing nearly 100 people. IT'S RIDICULOUS!!
To Shapelle and her Family. The "evidence" is purely circumstantial. Any judgment other than letting Shapelle come home a free woman will be a dreadful miscarriage of justice. According to another country’s law Shapelle will be found guilty. Shapelle is innocent until proven guilty and our government must go out and bat for her; to bring her home to her country and her people.
