Well all I can say is that for those that intend on traveling to indonesia beware.. I do feel sorry for the Balinese because they will suffer because of a judge who takes more pride in his record than provide an unbias decision. How can a judge say that it was a fair decision when he admits during the trial we was objective to subjective to objective. Aren't they to remain objective until all evidence is heard.
Can not believe they have found her guilty - never had a chance - I will not be visiting Indonesia ever again and will not donate anything a country which can allow such an injustice to occur
I will never visit Indonesia again. It was bad enough I could off lost my life with the bomb going off 4 days before i flew home but this is outrageous. How could you? If it werent for tourism you mongrels would be third world. Lets hope the next wave hits the courtroom .. Save yourselves then.
THIS IS APPALING. I really can't think of a strong enough word for what I feel about this. They talk about letting her serve her sentence in AUSTRALIA, she shouldn't even be in JAIL, in Bali or in Australia, In any reasonable court of law the charges would of been dropped and she be acquited and that is what should happen here, otherwise every single Australian person should boycott Bali till they wake up to themselves look at everything Australia has done for that country and they go and lock up one of our citizens, INNOCENT AT THAT. FREE SCHAPELLE OR BOYCOTT BALI
NOTICE TO ALL TRAVELLING AUSTRALIANS: Lock all of your bags tightly. Our own country is framing us and our shitty government will not help you. BEWARE - YOU COULD BE THE NEXT SCHAPELLE!!
You are an inspiration Schapelle. Your strength, courage and poise through this terrible time is amazing. The indonesian justice system has in my opinion carried out a criminal act by incarcerating a young innocent woman, robbing her of her freedom.
let alone the fact that the country, court, etc is corrupt,,these people not unlike others in countries such as our own are taking the cannibus laws to far, lives shouldnt be at risk because of a recreational drug that is no worse than tobacco or alcohol, both of which kill regulary,I cant stand the fact that pot,be it yours or mine, can in many ways ,because of these pathitic laws put our lives at risk.I feel for you Schapelle,Ive seen for myself the evil that man can bring upon another simply because he has the law behind him,,it sux!!!!!As for the court case,,obviously there was no way they where going to even begin to listen to your side of the story, you where never innocent to proven guilty,,in fact it was the other way around and you diddnt stand a chance,,go hard girl,,you are definatly a strong character,,GOOD LUCK
i will not be boycotting bali as i have a trip booked for later this yr. i also bleieve it is not the fault of the bali locals and therefore they should not be punished. i would like nothing better than to walk up to that judge n spit in his face when i get there.
What the Indonesian courts have done is to ensure that thousands of Australians will never travel again to their countries. Myself and many friends have now decided to never visit any part of Indonesia. Your nation is corrupt and your courts a joke. She is innocent, yet all the judicial system did was enjoy the media attention. The judge was nothing but a joke
It doesn't matter if she is innocent or guilty - the Indonesian government had every intention of passing a guilty verdict right from the word go. Bring Schapelle home. Help her PM.Howard - show a little spine and let the world know Australia has a backbone. Withdraw all help for Indonesia.
Cut off all Indonesian ties. A mysogynist with twisted un-facts has condemned this poor girl. BALI YOU ARE BOYCOTTED. Kill our Ozzies and get two years, do nothing and receive a life sentence. SHAME !!!!!!!!!!

I've always believed in Schapelle's innocence. I also believe that the judges were never interested in anything that may actually prove her innocence. This isn't justice, it's a power trip by sadists.
I believe this sentence is totally unreasonable and should be protested against. We need to fight this injustice. I hope the government take action aginst this as they should for all Australian citizens in such helpless positions wen faced with such injustice!
My heart absolutely goes out to Schapelle. I work in a bar & alot of my customers & they know of people who have said that they will be boycotting Bali. I believe u are innocent. Be strong.
Bali Bomber 4 years, Schapelle 20years. Who the hell do they think we are, Australians as a country will not stand for this injustice. Good luck next Tsunami or civil unrest coz we wont be there
A great injustice has occured today. The legal system is pathetic within this country.. I too think that Bali can go to hell & don't come knocking when needing more aid. I will never personally go there again. The Australian Government has a lot to answer for over the lack of support offered to this poor girl.
Handed down a guilty verdict and 20 years by a judge who has resided over 500+ cases and not acquitted a single case... Whats the point in a trial, there was only going to be one outcome... I will never set foot on Bali f%&king soil nor will my children should I have any down the track... These judges have tortured an Australian and her family, well let's f*&k their economy and see how he and his family like it to be tortured when their government can no longer pay their salary and give them jobs...
SCHAPELLE is INNOCENT - Please let her come home to Australia...cant you see it - SHE IS INNOCENT - i do not know Schapelle and I am not an expert on body language but cant you see her innocence in her actions and her eyes. All the facts prove she is innocent - look at the FACTS. I love Bali - we go to bali every year - I would love to live in Bali - but how can you do this to her. PLEASE consider the FACTS. Her body bag weighed less at Brisbane and Sydney. The street worth in Bali is way less than what she could have bought it for in Australia - go figure - SCHAPELLE would not be that stupid. She wanted a fun holiday and got sent to jail for A CRIME SHE DID NOT COMMIT - PLEASE LET HER COME HOME XXX
Today is a day that no-one in Australia will ever forget. A grave injustice happen on this day. Karma...the person (s) who planted those drugs will get his or hers someday. God is watching.
I fully support her innocence and believe that the Australian Government should have the guts to intervene. There have been enough Australians who have died in Bali. Australians should boycott Bali and then lets see how their community would survive.
She is not guilty. We need to protest on the streets and I always thought Indonesian was a good conutry, we will never ever go to Indonesian.
BOYCOTT INDONESIA
This verdict is the most appauling decision I have ever heard. I think Schapelle should not have to serve so much time in prison. All the help Australia has given Indonesia and they do this to us! How can they! I think alot of people have lost their faith and interest in the Indonesian country. We are all absolutley disgraced, we are all thinking of her.
I have just seen the sentence handed down to schapelle, 20 years and $13,000 fine for something that she didnt even do, the judges (so much for being unbiased) threw out all of the evidence in her defence. yet the smarmy little bastard as they call him 'the smiling assasin' -assassins are professionals, this little shit is an amateur murderer, plain and simple and what do those muslim pricks over there do? give him a measley three years!
I pray that through the prayer of the saints that our Schapelle can be released from this hoorific situation. I know how unfair this is, but i thank God that she has faith in our Lord, He will strengthen her thorughout all of this. We must pray for her, and for this unjustice to end
Withdraw all help for Indonesians Mt Howard. It's time to get a spine and get this girl home. Mr Bashir got 2 years for killing and she gets 20. Help this girl she is obviously innocent.
Schapelle, come hell or high water, justice will eventually be served. We are all behind you. Until then we must all boycott indonesia and its products.
indonesia has been gunning for australia for some time. they can kill our innocent holidaymakers (blowing them up) and get pissing bloody token sentences of a few years even though the evidence is beyond dispute!? indonesians are proud that their fellow citizens performed that act of terrorism. this poor girl has been made a scapegoat by what is nothing better than a 3rd world country who without us would still be living in caves. boycotting bali/indonesia should only be a start. how long can they survive without our money? we must continue a strong and united fight with both indonesia and the austraian government to ensure shapelle comes home immediately to appeal her case here and have the correct verdict handed down. we all know what that is. my thoughts are with you schapelle.
