I have just seen the verdict and shed tears for schapelle. No one should go through what she has endured over the past 7 months. She has tried to maintain a strong belief yet still she has been penalised for something she did not do. I am convinced that she has not been involved in this. She is innocent and deserves to come home to her family. Please do not use her to make an example of the penalties involved in drug smuggling.

Dear John Howard, How can you say to accept Indonesia's verdict on the Schapelle Corby trial. How would you feel if this was your daughter ? You say to accept Indonesia's justice system, please......A system that sentenced the Bali bombing mastermind to 2 years and 9 months for murdering 100s of people. Whether or not this girl is guilty she does not deserve this. You must make a stand. You will lose many supporters if you do not. I tell you this in all sincerity. The Indonesian justice system is a JOKE ! If this had been done in a non-mysogynist society this would never have happened, the facts and evidence were screwed and disembowled to suit Indonesia. This girl should not have to go through this alienated and away from her family. Those judges treated Ms Corby with contempt and utter arrogance, how is that fair, how is that moral ? I have never taken drugs, don't drink alcohol, don't even drink coffee or tea, I abhor them in fact, but I support Schapelle Corby regardless of the circumstance. Come on Mr Howard, Australians are better than this. Your daughter, my daughter, someone else's daughter, they need support. I believe a total withdrawal of all support from Indonesia is the only way to make a stand. I don't believe you'll do that, but eveyone is upset. Australia has done so much for Indonesia, isn't it about time that compassion was reciprocated ? Francesca Anne Thomas-Massey

The Indonesian legal system is a farce, if not corrupt. The heartbreak and sadness I feel for Shapelle and her family is beyond description. Keep putting pressure on the Australian Government to ask for a Prisoner exchange, and keep putting pressure on the Indo. Government by boycotting Indo. tourism and products. Finally, PLEASE take a small amount of time and effort to encourage your family and friends to do the same. Collective individuals can create enormous change. Never doubt that, or our ability to help Shapelle.

I was a social worker dealing with drug rehabilitation and have seen many people involved with drugs. Schapelle does not fit this profile neither does she look like, or speak like somebody involved in drugs. I have watched her body language throughout this trial and if I had her as a client I would definitely say that this person is not guilty of the accusations. To sentence her to 20 years gaol is the real crime
