I believe Ms Corby is innocent. John Howard must use his influence with the Indonesian President to have her set free. Additionally the Australian Police should step up its investigation to find out who planted the Drugs in Ms Corby's booge bag.Enough has not been done to help this innocent child. She deserves better.

What a shame one of the cowardly, low-life baggage handlers don't come forward and admit to this crime. Schapelle needs the best defence lawyers for her appeal - nothing should be left to chance. John Howard should insist on the dope being tested for it's origin and the bag in which it was held be tested for finger-prints ... or has it already been destroyed?? Judging by the verdict I'd say the Balinese judges were smoking it just prior to the verdict - they had to be off their face to bring in a guilty verdict. I for one will never set foot in Bali - too many Australians have been sacrificed on it's shores. This is one of the most frustrating events that I have witnessed. I haven't cried so much in a long time. Something so desperately needs to be done but its seems hopeless. I only hope that they get a decent defence team together for her and the government better move their arse quickly as they have alot to answer for.

With a very large majority of people believing in Schapelle Corby's innocence, todays verdict was heartbreaking for this country.I know how this has affected me and I can't even begin to imagine how it is for the Corby's, and from watching the news this has rippled out to many. Regardless now of innocent or not surely both goverments can see that this is no longer about one girl possibly importing illegal drugs into Bali. It is not the greatest good to see this person behind bars. I like many others am unsure of what can be done but recognise SOMETHING must be done NOW. I send all my love and thoughts to Schapelle and her amazing family and my pleas to the Australian Goverment to get over the red tape and sort this out quickly!!

In Australia we dont even get 20 years for murdre ans what do them mungrels over there giveher for drugs 20 YEARS ITS NOT GOOD ENOUGH. HER FAMILY NEEDS HER. i cried when i saw the sentence. even my 8year old was moved. we have gone on planes a dozen times in the last 12 months &have never locked the bags.we will be from now on!! i believe she is inocent, it could have been me.

There is not enough evidence to suggest her guilt or innocence, but 20 years is a great travesty of justice for possession of marijuana, especially when murderers only get 3. Bring Schapelle back to Australia and let her be sentenced in a more humane and justified way than she has in Indonesia. I ask people not to have any future relations with the Indonesia or their people, especially those travelling to Bali and other destinations. A boycott sounds great! And don't disrespect our Prime Minister. He doesn't have power over the Indonesian government or their judicial system (no matter how crazy it seems to us - their law is very strict on drugs, as we have seen here) in the same way that other countries can't tell our government or courts how to run themselves.
