ALL AUSTRALIANS SHOULD CANCEL ANY TRIPS OR IDEAS OF HOLIDAYS TO BALI/INDONESIA. bali would not exist if it wasnt for the australian tourism dollar.how could anyone think schapelle is guilty. australia should also boycott any dealings with indonesia especially with aid that we seem to always be helping them out with. indonesia do not give a shit about the australian people. they have proved it with the crap today.i hope they all rot in hell and remember karma will come back and get them 10fold
I definitely do not believe that Schapelle Corby committed this crime, nor do I believe that her trial was in any way fair or just. To me, it appears as though her conviction is a result of a combination of a perverted Indonesian justice system, a less-than-competent legal defence team, and a corrupt and arrogant judge purely out to protect his own reputation.
The Australian government is not doing anywhere near enough to ensure Schapelle Corby's freedom and safe return to Australia. Step up to the plate, Mr Howard, and protect the citizens of Australia - it's your job.

I suppose I,m like everyone else who has there thoughts on this case!
But I cant help looking into the nitty gritty of it all, and to me there appears so many things that have not been questioned, which are of such importance.
As the verdict of todays hearing of the Corby case is guilty. It seems all I hear now, is talk about the next stages, that of the appeals process.
I am far removed from the legal proffesion but I have a good nose for sniffing out the unseen.
I believe I have several things to add to the future of this case, which are perhaps overlooked by others perhaps through axsiousness and or emotion
But right now, what I have to say is probably the single most important thing that needs to be done with urgency, and immediate action.
The most Important step to this case now, is an Immediate formal request by the Australian Government, asking that all physical evidence relating to the Corby trial not be detroyed until after all appeal processes have been exausted.
This request must be directed and attentioned to the indonesian president.
This follows the judges statement that now, the marijuana, boogie board, flippers and bag, will now be destroyed following this verdict.
If the Australian government does not Intervene in this matter and attempt to have these Items kept it would point to there belief that it is not regarded as evidence, vital to the appeal process.
Also this would not be interfering in the legal system in another country, but just highlighting to the Indonesian Government, that this is crucial evidence for the appeal process and should be saved until all appeals have been completed. That would be JUSTICE, of which the Indonesion president said he would be looking at carefully, to make sure the case was fair and just. This is his opportunity to live up to those words.

i think they need to think about how would she have gotten this amount through customs without being picked up before leaving australia. as if she could have past through with it ... maybe they should look at some one over there planting it in her stuff just to cause some grief for tourists . all i can say is that there will be hardly any one touring over there due to possible planting of illegal drugs in our personal belongings. it would have to have been some one in their own country in their own airport that has done it to her and thinks nothing of it that is a sad way to lve life by ruining other people lives.

Such an unfair verdict.i have always believed in your innocence,even whilst knowing that you would be found guilty.You were stiched up so tight by Indonesia, the drugs were there, so they must be yours.If,it's a big if, we can put any faith in Indonesian justice, then the 2 and a bit weeks being served for each life taken by the smiling bomber, is a lesser crime than failing to secure your luggage. To me it seems that there is no justice in this world at all.The high quality drugs that were in the boogy board would never have reached the Balinese people, who their court claim to be protecting, the everyday balinese cannot afford to buy those drugs, they are hard pushed tring to feed the family. I believe that Schapelle Corby is innocent till proven guilty, so far she had not been given a chance since no-one seems to care all they want is to close their eyes to the truth...My husband, my family and his and our friends will never intend to visit Bali because of their demonstrated legal system which I personally find has failed them and I hope that they realize that this is a stoneage procedure. Although this may be done in several countries doesn't make it anything but a conspiricy. God bless Schapelle we are behind you and will fight for you to be brought back home to Australia.
