As a Canadian citizen
I am totally disgusted of the treatment and sentence handed to this poor women, the Indonesian Goverment should do the right thing and send this women home, where she belongs. Dont give up Schapelle, you will soon be free.
Your justice system has failed how can someone in your country shoot someone or or bomb down a place and get bugger all of a sentence this girl goes on a holiday and gets 20yrs in a bali cell for a crime she did not commit NO FINGER PRINTS TAKEN FOR STARTERS!! AND THE LIST GOES ON.At least the Australian system is a bit more thorough.I used to love everything about Bali I will think twice now.Schapelle should be in Australia not in one of the cells for a crime she did not commit.
Let justice be served and not ruin the life of a strong woman just to save face for a nation that wont accept their own problem and look for ways to pass the blame
We, the undersigned, can no longer standby and watch one of our fellow Australians suffer for a crime we do not believe she has committed.
We understand she is currently in Indonesian and therefore under the laws of another country but some arrangement MUST be reached with the Indonesian government that ensures Schapelle is bought home as soon as is humanly possible. We know that this is possible.
Therefore it is with the utmost urgency we insist you take action on our behalf and bring Schapelle Corby home to Australia immediately.
We will not be ignored & we will be heard.
Concerned Australians Acting on Behalf Of Schapelle Corby
Thank you
we DO NOT accept the decision to jail Schapelle Corby for 20 years. We the undersigned demand that you, the Australian Goverment, do absolutely everything possible to bring Schapelle Corby back to Australia at the earliest possible time.
20 years is a very harsh sentence don't ya think? I live in the U.S. and when I heard about what happened I was pretty upset. Murderers get lighter sentences than that. Comeon now. FREE HER!

I do not understand this world sometimes how can u send a woman to prison for the only crim that she comitted was not putting lockes on her bags this is an out rage, my thoughts on this r every strong, im a 15 year ol student in year 10 and Schapelle is meant to b living a free life with her family and freinds in aus not in some horrible disgusting prison. my and many other people thoughts are with u schapelle god bless you
Schapelle is totally innocent. Why is the Indonesian Justice system so keen to find her guilty.
The judges find pride in announcing that they have not found anyone innocent in their career. IS THIS SOMETHING TO BE PROUD OF?
Everyone should not buy anything from Indonesia. We should not go to Bali, we should not give them any aid. When nature wants to destroy you next, Indonesia, don.t expect help from us!!!!!
Mr. Prime Minister. WHAT ARE YOU DOING? Why are you keeping quite? You are losing all of my respect and I don't think that I will vote for you the next time!! Can't you see that the entire system in Indonesia is completely UNFAIR and INJUSTICE???
Why is the Indonesian Judges wanting to Jail her that much? Is it because they don't want to "Spoil their record"?Why are they rejecting evidence produced. Very obviously that there is something that the judges want to prove. 20 years? For doing what? For something that you DID NOT COMMIT??
Being tried in that Shitty country which you are GUILTY UNTIL PROVEN INNOCENT is just so absurb. It is shocking !!!!
PLease, the person that did this. Have the guts to own up. Someone is going to jail because of you. OWN UP or I hope you will BURN IN HELL
Boycott Bali, and Indonesia. There are other places such as Malaysia and Brunie. Do you fell safe when you could be anytime convicted for doing something you did not do??
Victoria and Family
I am so angry with what happened to Schapelleand there is no way i will donate any money to indonesia or bali again, nor will i go there. The indonesian govt need to be taught a lesson. Stand up Mr. Howard and say what u have always wanted to about the indonesians!!
how dare you spend our tax dollars on helping these people when all they do is try blow us up, kill our people and deface our australian way of life.. SHAME ON YOU HOWARD bring schapelle home! and free her!
I can't believe the indonesian courts could find schapelle guilty when they didn't take finger prints from the bag. They said they took into consideration that she has no drug related offences but as far as I could see they had her guilty from the word go. How can the Bali bombers get 2 and a half years and schapelle 20 yrs did she kill anyone ....... NO!!!! so why not let her come home
I'm pretty pissed. I just heard about the conviction on the news. I'll read through the forums, but what happened to the testimony that the real smugglers plant drugs on unsuspecting people's luggage?
Schapelle is INNOCENT!
Is this the thanks Australia gets for all the aid we have sent for the Tsunami?UNACCEPTABLE!
Who would now want to RISK going there for a holiday?!?!
All our help to Bali and Indonesia is treated like shit when we see our girl being treated like that. This is a calling to everyone to boycott Bali and Indonesia!!!!
Schapelle must be brought home! I really do believe she innocent, but even if she was guilty its too harsh. I for one will never visit Bali out of protest They seem to forget that if it wasn't for Australian's visiting there, they'd have serious problems. Think about it Bali. You're scaring Australian's into not visiting! Have a good think about that....Our country have been VERY GOOD to you!!!!!! Return the favour!!!!!!!!!!
Whether guilty or not, (I beleive she may be innocent), but to go to a country and be charged on the "YOU ARE GUILTY AND YOU HAVE TO PROVE YOU ARE INNOCENT" court system, and you try to prove your innocence only to have it rule as inadmissable WTF. She will never be found innocent because their court system will not accept fault that they were wrong even if evidence or a conviction in Australia found a baggage handler who was the one for the plant of the drugs.
As what Jack L had mentioned I find that the placement of drugs in my baggage without my knowledge is completely plausible, and I do never wish to be charged for a crime I did not commit with no way to defend myself.
Sorry Bali -- No more will I go --
I know who to vote for next time. I am NOT going to vote for someone that HIDES FROM THE TRUTH AND SUCKUP TO OTHER NATIONS WHEN ONE OF OUR OWN IS IN JAIL FOR A CRIME SHE DID NOT DO!!!! MR. HOWARD..... DO SOMETHING
I am planing an overseas holiday and the last place I will even think about going to will be an Indonesian country, I regard my life more than their corrupt, hypocritical system.
This story reminds me of the movie Broken down Palace. My hopes and I am sure the hopes of everyone who has heard this story is to see Schapelle free. I am from the USA and it ticked me off at the sentence that was handed down. 20 years!!! what the hell.
I am an American who is appalled at this story. Even if she did smuggle the pot she does not deserve this sentence. Its marijuanna for goodness sakes not a bomb, weapon, or any type of killer by any means. In fact marijuanna is healthier for you than perscription drugs..This is outrageous a disgusting the prosector in this case should be hung for his complete idiotcracy...Who really feels the crime deserves the punishment. i cant believe the Bali government actually condiders this a just punishment I am truly disgusted!!!!!
4565 Stephen Bookin This is why evryone should not visit third-world dung heaps like Bali. These primitive savages are punishing an innocent woman who was merely trying to spend some money in their crappy little society they call a "nation." I would suggest that everyone boycot Bali, but I don't know of anyting they produce other than misery and injustice.
YOU ARE SUCH AN ASSHOLE!!!
They give 18 months jail to a bali bomber who killed 188 aussies - we give over 1 billion dollars in support of tsnami - and what do they do to us - destroy a young sussies life. Well we treat you like you treat us - like shit

Whether or not Schapelle is innocent or guilty, I believe the latter, the sentence far outweighs the gravity of the crime, but, the one thing that sticks in my throat is the fact that, during Indonesia's dire time of need due to the tsunami disaster, the world dug deep to help with every concievable method availabe. The least they could do is waive Schapelle's totally unneccesary sentence and send her home. Deporting her should have been the worst thing to have happened, especially in a country where drug cartels are running and getting away with it, probably with with some officialdom condonement.
Holiday in Indonesia? Not bloody likely! Is the judge mad or just on substance...
shame on the australian government sitting back and watching all of this happen! schapelle is clearly innocent and doesnt deserve this, let her go u arseholes!
I know she is innocent. Most people know the barbaric sentences that these coutries have for small crimes. She would not have put herself in such peril.
John Howard, The only reason you are turning your back on Schappelle is because you just shook hands in a deal with Indonesia and you dont want one of your own, to come between that. You are a weak little man Mr Howard, i will certainly be thinking twice about giving you my vote again.
As for Bali, I hope your economy suffers, you lock away the Bali bomber for 3 years, may i remind you that 187 people were killed!! Yet Schapelle is planted with drugs, the evidence has more holes in it than cheddar cheese, yet you sentence her to 20 years for something she clearly didnt do. Bali will certainly be off my list of holidays...i hope all fellow Australians will do the same.

Thank you
Schapelle must be brought home. She is an innocent victim of drug dealers from her own country. If I ever visit Indonesia, it will never be via Australia.
Schapelle Corby is an innocent victim. No sane person would take that amount of drugs to any country in an unlocked bag, but there are many other issues that point to her innocence. Our Aussies were killed in Bali and the killer was free after a couple of years. Is that justice? Do something to bring her home now as a free woman.
