After everything we have done for Indonesia since the Bali Bombing it's an outrage that they can treat Shapelle or any of us like this for a crime that millions don't believe she did . There's no secret about who was involved in the Bali Bombings and after they managed to cut so deep into the Australian Spirit they are put away for 2 years and Shapelle never murdered anyone yet gets put away for 20 years in one of THEIR jail cells where she will no doubt just deteriate . Really , Where's the Justice ?
Can we allow a country to punish one of their own with 30 months for his part in killing 88 of our citizens and then punishing one of our own with 20 years for something that can not be she has done without a doubt?
BRING HER HOME

Boycott Indonesia. Do not visit Indonesia, do not buy Indonesian Products. Hit them wher it hurts, the Indonesian Government is being treated to soft by the Australian Government. Withdraw our training of the Indonesian Forces and support, they are not deserving of our generosity. The strength of the Aussie is to fight for what we know is right, we never let a mate down.
ALL AFL teams and other codes, if you have booked and end of season trip to Bali... CANCEL IT NOW... Let us the people who make Australia the great nation we are, stand up for right and justice... BOYCOTT BALI NOW
The Australian Government has a responsibility to ensure that its citizens have a fair and just trial. Do your job and free this innocent girl. Punish the drug traffickers in the airline systems not innocent tourists.
Indonesian law does not presume guilt, this is a fallacy. Neither is it the only country without jury trials - Indonesian law is based on Dutch law, and Australians aren't screaming for their laws to be changed. There is prima facie evidence to convict - evidence that could easily convict her in an Australian court. This hysteria is based on anti Muslim prejudice - and two of the judges are Hindu and one is a Christian! The govt has proposed a prisoner exchange and has funded QCs to work on Schappelle's behalf, which is more than reasonable. Why is nobody blaming her defense or Brisbane airport for their inability to ascertain how much her bag weighed when it was checked in? This clamour for "justice" is onion grabbing, sentimental rubbish that wouldn't be apparent if Schappelle Corby was black, male or a Muslim. Grow up!
The Indonesian Authorities know Schapelle Corby is innocent. Her sentence is nothing more than a deliberate WE HAVE THE POWER message to all Australians (whom they detest, except for their tourist dollars).
This is so unjust...let's boycott Qantas, how can anyone ever get on a plane again & feel safe & we thought it was the terrorists we had to worry about! It's our own baggage handlers, if they can do this how can we monitor anthrax, bombs, weapons, etc....security, be alert not alarmed!!...What a joke Mr Howard!
A judicial system that lets the Mastermind Bali bomber get away with 18 months and Schapelle a possible life sentance with no real case. It leaves a sour taste for a country of which we have just donated billions of hard earned Australian dollars.
she is an innocent woman who was caught in the right place at the WRONG time.I pray god will move mountains for this woman's life she did not deserve this and i urge the Australian government to do all they can to get her free and fix this problem. they made a movie of this very thing happening to two girls in thailand i urge you to watch the movie "white palace" it is based on a true story. this is'nt the first time someone's tried this very thing. Please bring this girl home safe and sound to her family.I also beleive Australian's should'nt vacation in Indonesia i hope this sends a message to all Aussie's to travel elsewhere. the indo people who are muslum don't favour australia at all since the war and the australian support. Also the terrorists who blew up that area in bali only got 30 months and she gets 20 years. think people think, that's a strong enough message right there.
Mr Howard, just like a pilot when his plane is in trouble, you have your Human Rights and Justice aircraft in trouble,so you must fix it, or we all end up in disaster!!! You have the resources, Free Schappelle quickly!!!!!!!!!
I believe that she's very innocent Australian person. I am sure Bali needed money from her because her country is rich country so Bali expected to get money from Australian government! Nice try Bali!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If Schapelle was guilty of this crime, WHY was she so insistant about getting her bags weighed when the marajuana was found? And WHY was it not done?
If the baggage handlers had weighed the bags AS REQUESTED AND REQUIRED BY LAW, this would have proven guilt or innocence beyond a doubt.
It seems that the baggage handlers are above the law here, not one of them has been punished for failure to do what was required of them, and as a result, an innocent woman languishes in jail.
Set Schapelle free, and order an investigation into the baggage handlers. Only then will the real reasons behind this come to light. Schapelle is a scapegoat for these guys, she's innocent, she's being punished for someone elses crime and it's not fair.
If we leave Schapelle in prison and do nothing, what's going to happen to the next person this happens to? Or the next? Or the next?
This needs to be stopped NOW. Let Shhapelle go, she's innocent. Do something now before other people suffer. Once is more than enough. The next time, it could be you.
The sentence is extreme. She didn't kill anyone and yet she gets a harsher sentence than the bomber who killed 12 people? Even if guilty this sentence is rediculous.
It is bullshit that she gets 20 yrs and Bali bombers whom killed many of people get like 2 yrs!!!
Free her and i'm sure if she did it she has learnt her lesson already....
Schapelle is guilty. Her brother said he saw her pack the bag. Her dad said he packed the bag. An experienced boogie boarder would have noticed the extra four kilograms in her boogie board bag. Strong marijuana is worth a lot in Bali. The prosecution presented a strong case.
I will never support any Idonesian associated country, especially Bali, again with tourism, donations and the like.
Our Government should be doing more to help Schapelle.
We need to free this poor girl before her spirit is broken due to being subjected to the discusting conditions found within the Indonesian jails.
I hope that tourism seriously suffers as a result of the judges actions.
It is injust to not test the marijuana for it's origin, to handle the evidence, to assume because she has admitted ownership of the bag that ther could be no other person that placed the drugs in her bag, especially when a life is on the line. As judges, they should put themselves in Schapelle's shoes and ask what they would expect to be done if it was their innocent life being judged or the life of their daughter! Don't you think getting the verdict right is more important than upholding a reputation of "never acquitting anyone on drug charges!"
Justice was not served and John Howard will not brain wash the Australian people, we are Australian and if he wont help we will rally and help her. We want to see Justice and we want Ms Corby free. She is innocent.
Bali bomber gets 30 months for killing and Ms Corby gets 20 years for some pot, come on is that justice. I bet the family friends and relatives of the Bali Bombings don’t feel they got justice for the lives lost … while Bashir laughs at us every chance he gets…
I will never go to Bali again, how can you rely on the Australian government to help if the same thing happens to you?
John Howard is quick to give help to Bali and the Indonesians. But what help have they ever given the Australian people? They showed their feelings when they applauded at Ms Corbys verdict….
Nice one Bali!
The Indonesian law enforcement and justice systems (?) are obviously corrupt.
How can we accept the treatment given to Chapelle Corby when we remember the sentences given to the Bali bombers.
Our own Government needs a huge shot of testosterone to give it the balls to do something about this.
I also remember a prominent Australian Official dressed in his silver braided uniform, strutting around like a "Cornbeef Admiral", and making intemporate comments about the Corby defence case.
That would not be permitted in Australia!
DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS MR HOWARD!
