I believe Shapelle to be innocent-the fault lays with Qantas airlines and their lax weight and security prodecures. Qantas should be called on to assist Shapelle come home.

Hit them where it hurts - tourism. We supported them through tough times, even after the Bali bombing as they begged to not take this out on them. She has not be proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt! Where was the evidence? Why was forensic evidence not used or even acquired? Unitl all this is brought forth in court and she is proven no just declared guilty - SEND HER HOME WITH A PARDON!!!!
I was planning a holiday with some my best mate in October, the thing is i'm the same age as Schapelle and feel as though i have been given a life sentence, although i wouldn't know how she felt, unless perhaps i went to Bali, who's to say, some corrupt custom officer who wants a pay rise doesnt frame me, or some idiot drug trafficker puts a package in my bag. I've cancelled the holiday plans, as i have no intent of spending 20 yrs of my life in a jail cell for something i didnt do.. How many more Schapelle's are there going to be? The only thing Schapelle is guilty of, IS being a young person trying to enjoy herself on holiday, thats all....Why couldn't the judges admit it? Put yourself in her shoes...this could have happened to any one of us. The Bali Bombers got 2 years for killing over 100 people! What a joke! No more trips to Bali for me, it's sad but why risk it!
It's about time Australia and more importantly, the government of Australia stood up and took a stand against an issue that is clearly so important to the Australian people, not to mention an innocent Australia locked away in that hell. I believe Schappelle Corby is innocent and this is what should be happening.
1: Qantas & the Australian federal police should be paying for all her legal expenses, as it was their lack of security that allowed the drugs to pass through our airports.
2: Qantas and any other airlines should be fully refunding anyone who wishes to cancel their tickets to Indonesia, even if they are due to fly today or anytime in the near future.
3: The Indonesia Customs officer and the Policemen who charged her should have to take a lie detector test. If that’s the only evidence they have to convict her, as they were the only people who made sure the evidence was contaminated so it couldn’t be used in her defenses.
4: Because the fact the Indonesian Judges that jailed Schappelle for putting the Indonesian people and their livelihoods at risk. He then should sentence himself to death as for what he has done, caused by his own inconsiderate and inhumane sentencing of an innocent human being.
5: Schappelle should be released immediately and be compensated for all her sufferings that will probably haunt her for the rest of her life, by Qantas, The Australian Government and The Indonesian Government.
6: The Indonesian Government should (on their hands and knees) beg Schapelle for her forgiveness in public.
As a new supporter, I believe Schapelle is innocent. I would like to ask Indonesian Government to listen to Australia supporter carefully with a clear conscience

Although i think she is innocent, even if she was guilty i think it is unfair she should serve that sentence when people in Australia who murder and rape don't even go to jail for that long.

I am disgusted that Schapelle Corby is being sentenced to 20 years in jail. The judges for the case were absolute crap, they should've read more facts that prove Schapelles innocence. Schapelles only mistake was not locking her bag, she doesn't deserve this. Johan Howard is a coward that should get off his bum and do something constructive for a change. This case has made a lot of Australians frightened to travel overseas, as it does not appear that the Australian Government has supported this girl by way of getting her back to her home country as soon as possible and providing the legal assistance she should have had.
