I for one will never visit their country. I hope that this negatively impacts their tourist industry and shows the world what a twisted (in)justice system they have.
I don't agree with boycotting or trying to hurt the Balinese with malicious attacks, that to me lowers the standard of an australian citizen, but if we stay strong for her, then she will pull through and she will eventually come home.
It is bad enough that an innocent woman has been found guilty of a crime she did not commit. Bring her home please, at least she will be more comfortable in Australia.
I think its unfortunate, that an inocent girl is jailed for the next 20 years of her life in indonesia. I believe the Aust Govt. will try and bring her home, but i think more support should be given to her and less to the 'bali 9' who are actually guilty. All Australians should not punish Indonesia, by boycotting them as the balinese people will be the ones who suffer. Australians should be aware when going to destinations outside Autralia and be tolerant and aware of the culture and law.

Having 3 daughters of my own, can only imagine what she and her family are going through. I do not believe she is guilty and would love to see her get a pardon.

It is time the Australian Government, stopped being so generous with our money and aid to theese barbaric countries, and let them fend for themselves,as they rely on our money and tourists to live, myself and none of my family and friends will never set foot in that country again, even if Shapelle is not freed, at least out boycotting will start to hurt.

People are boycotting Indonesia and Bali, people retracting donations they made to Indonesia and people who are refusing to donate the the Salvations Army's Red Shield Appeal without assurances the money will not go to Indonesia because of the Corby verdict. What the hell is wrong with us?? We are taught values in school, how to be 'Australian', we are taught to respect others and the fact that Australia is a multicultural country. We celebrate 'Australia Day' celebrating our identity and diversity, but recently ive seen none of these. To people who believe Schapelle is innocent, im am not denouncing your opinions. But seriously, wake up! To the majority of the people in this forum who have brains thankyou for your insight into this case. The Indo. Gov. should be held responsible for the police spoilt the crime scene. It's very hard to prove your innocent, especially when the people charging you are incompetent.
I am outraged and disgusted that these people have less brains than the size of a peanut and can imprison an australian woman for 20 years for drug smuggling which she didnt even do, and yet one of their own can plan a bombing and kill 202 people including 88 australians and they only get 2 and 1/2 pathetic years, that equates to a miserly 1 month in jail per person killed. Schapelle is innocent and if they had proper judges who know the proper law and can open their eyes and ears to the evidence supporting her case she would have been aquitted the first day she stepped into that courtroom. They had holes in all the evidence against her and yet she can still be sentenced to 20 years. Outraged and digusted are the only words i can say to descride the injustice that has happenend. So to the judges i say this, you have imprisoned an innocent young lady and put her through hell, but dont worry one day the devil will be so kind to return the favour on her behalf, for you will be in hell for what you have done.
Tell me why these arseholes keep looking up schapelle specifically just to say how guilty they think she is? Get a life, we are trying to come together as a society (which rarely happens these days) to help an innocent girl. Apart from the fact that it was her boogey board bag (which she hadnt seen or touched for several hrs)they have nothing on her.
